- Tell Fang to climb up as high as he can, and then strike the Gligar with Ice Fang when he can.
- While Fang climbs Mt. Boxonet, Haru commands Maelstrom, focusing on prolonging the battle with dodging and Harden.
- When Haru sees Fang is in position, he guides Maelstrom over there, which should provoke the Gligar to follow him.
- When the Gligar is led into range, Fang hits her with an Ice Fang.
Big problem is that we can't?
We can issue two moves or a complex order to one pokemon.
You want to command two pokemon to perform complex actions with zero prior training on those. Fang has never battled with a trainer before, and thus no particular experience with unusual tactics. Keep in mind how long it took Maelstrom to understand exploiting the environment and move combos.
...and you know, a 2 move buffed STAB Aqua Jet by a skyborne pokemon is quite likely to hit a lot harder and more reliably than an unbuffed cross type Ice Fang
