Okay, let's be fair. The number of nobles who aren't 'slightly unhinged' in ASOIAF can be counted on like, two hands. We'd just be normal then!

Hell, the Stark kids didn't really become unhinged until after suffering from massive traumatic events that was caused by Joff being an absolute piece of shit.

Hell, Tommen is normal... for a kid who likes cats and doesn't really... understand what the hell is going on around him all to much.

and that's about it... really.

Destiny being fickle... is where I roll for the POV's on the characters, to see how their destiny's change. The higher/lower they are... the more drastic the changes are.

Like Jaimie realizing he was in a very abusive relationship and leaving, and later winding up in Viserys company.

While I like changes to the story, I do not want a completely alternate universe.
