This alone would be difficult for anyone to move past, let alone someone who grew up during one of the worst periods in human history. Unfortunately, Zaya Kahn's misfortune is amplified by another complicating factor. While it's not a secret that a significant percentage of modern Mongolia have a genetic link to the great Genghis Kahn himself, Zaya Kahn's family tree actually shows a direct link, albeit through one of the lesser family lineages.
Take a proud family history dating back to one of the greatest men in history, combine it with the loss and suffering of the invasion, and add in a mixture of Mongolia not having been a significant presence on the world stage in centuries, and it creates a very unhealthy recipie.
Officially, the war ended years ago. Not so much for Zaya Kahn. For Zaya, a desire for vengence burns deep within her very being - the universe came to conquer Earth and bring it to a heel, and Zaya would see the universe regret ever visiting Earth in the first place. For now, Zaya plays the part of the hero, pretending to be an upstanding citizen who seeks to bring a new standard of prosperity to her native land. But let there be no mistake - deep down, Zaya's plans and ambitions are far more sinister.

His early life was ideal and easygoing, he was top of his class in every subject and his future was considered to be bright, until the aliens arrived. They said every family in the Soviet union had a family member who died during the second great patriotic war against the Germans. The same applied for this. During the Third Great Patriotic War The Soviet Union suffered horrifically to maintain its existence, so many wounded, so many orphaned, so many heroes dead. That one spark of optimism of the future that the soviets had lay dashed on the rocks. One of those Persons was Jan. In an attempt to help his motherland he had volunteered to jo the Red Army to protect his land his family, his people. Only to be met with the horror of a war unlike anything since the Nazis. Friends died mentors screamed as their libs were blown to bits. The heroes, oh the heroes. The once proud symbols of socialism lay broken across the motherlands battered body. Alas in the end just as before The motherland and the rest of the forces of good were able to win despite the cost. That cost included Jans father who died saving a girl from being crushed by falling debris. Lena had adopted the girl and named her Zuzanna, it had taken time but, he could understand why his mother did so. As he grew up in the new union he had completed his degree in mechanical engineering but did not decide to pursue it, he instead applied to join the Spetsnaz GRU like his father had before him. It turns out his father was a big name in the GRU and having a legacy had all sorts of advantages. You were allowed in and thats where training began. Marksmanship, hand to hand combat and survival was drilled into your body until you couldn't move and then some more. he experience was a living hell but you pushed through it and ended up joining the Spetsnaz GRU. You served diligently an sent whatever you could to you mother and sister to support them, and visited them whenever you had the free time. however over the years the Union grew weaker and weaker, that until fucking Afghanistan kicked the bucket over, the giant corpse that didn't know it died during the invasion suddenly came to its realization. The general secretary didn't help things by opening the doors to capitalism despite his earnest beliefs. The conservatives in the union howled, the liberalism and reformers frothed at the mouth for the change to reform the union, the entire country was heading for a collision course. That's when the upper echelon of the Spetsnaz GRU approached Jan for a mission. Out of many possible applicants they judged only he had the unscary loyalty and skills to serve and in this case save the union. The inducted him into the Soldiers of Tomorrow Program which was in charge of a new experimental body army for the special forces, it was a prototype but its was the most cutting edge technology in the union. They gave Jan this suit with a goal in mind, become a hero for everyone in the union. The great plan to save the union was to hope one man could somehow become a symbol of hope strong enough to hold together this damned nation. Jan was inclined to reject how could they put the future of the country in the hands of a single man, a simple soldier at that? They said they had faith in you however and commented how his father would have had faith to. It was a low blow and Jan barely kept his temper in check but he accepted it at the end. So his goal starts right in the center of the Country, build a legacy that unites Soviets of all stripes and prevent Red Dusk and Gorby from tearing each other a new one. As the communist world crashes down in flames and the union finds itself ever closer to the Abyss, Jan can only hope.

Originating from the small Greek subethnos Mani, the fate and military career of Pantaleon were predetermined. However, the appearance of alien invaders disrupted all plans.
