A Realm Divided - A ASOIAF Nation Game

Elia: Only if i get to [redacted for audience sake]. Ill need to get more rope first...

Ahem.

More seriously, talk in pm, but im not opposed if roughly similar stuff to that thing with the summer isles princess.

Well yes, but it's not a logical impossibility.

Joffrey and Sansa and a Tyrell and Sansa were also considered, and that when she was heiress to the North at least.

That was the point. Everyone wanted to use her to take the North for their family.

Normally the heir marries a vassal, rarely does he marry another LP family and I don't think we've ever seen a heir/heir match.

Aegon, Viserys, Robert.

Only 1 of them was seen as unfit in the eyes of the gods. (Robert)

I feel letting Rhaegar assume the throne without a fight and providing hostages is more then a fair concession. Saddling us all with your debt and surrendering territory some have owned for millennia on the other hand is a step to far. In the immortal words of Ferdinand Foch 'This isn't a peace it's a twenty year truce.'*

Don't kick a wounded dog if you want to make friends, especially when said wounded dog has more men, more territory, more money and already has every reason to plot against you.

As you rightfully pointed out The war situation has developed not necessarily to Oldtown's advantage and I can do two thirds of diddle in this situation. The united remaining Lord's Declarant certainly could but two of them have new players and a third got his independence.

@Skrevski

What format do you want our timeskip plans to be in and how many 'actions' do we get?

*admittedly he advocated utterly destroying Germany, which kinda defeats my point.

1. Was never a factor and the regents abandoned him.
2. The regents briefly tried to prop him up but his mother saw which way the wind was blowing and backed out.
3. Lost a trial by combat.

The regents cycled through every possible option before just collapsing. They can't claim points for peacefully submitting after a year's fighting, three separate attempts at deposing Rhaegar and the complete collapse of their political coalition.

They already have plotted against me. This is to show that has consequences and to strengthen me and my allies at their expense and convince their vassals not to back the losing side twice.

Its also perfectly in keeping with what everyone but Robert has done upon winning the throne. Lands do shift its just the seats and names that usually stay the same.

Man, Elia should've invested in a knife or something what with Rhaegar running around being all three heads and stuff. Or an Oberyn but he's dead failing voodoo magic bringing him back and somehow I think voodoo magic Oberyn would have bigger concerns than his sister's husband like the consumption of brains.

I do think that crippling the Riverlands by taking out Harrenhal and Darry is a bit too much for a war that wasn't won and it's only happening because the Tullys are NPC.
