First, don't double-post Dark_River. You are still double posting.

Second.
Here is one more alternative that someone suggested before I think, a Rapier, similar (but probably smaller) to the one Purple Tear has. Fits Ciel's fighting style and all too.
I rather like that.

I still don't think it's a good idea to take a workshop right now. We don't even have a strength augment yet.

You can get the wires in reasonable quality on Ciel's budget, but not any poisons.
Aww. Well,
[X] Buy a Workshop weapon
-[X] Buy a set of gloves that can release and retract multiple very sharp wires with a quick gesture. The wires themselves are made of a durable and sharp material.
-[X] Make sure to search for Workshops offering a discount to training if you buy a weapon from them

Rapier Idea then:

[X] Use the money to buy a good Rapier
-[X] An image of Iori stabbing repeatedly against a target pops into your mind as you notice the AD. As you get a better look it seems to be specially made for wounds that are more potent and debilitating (Bleed or Debuffs)

I dunno which of Bleed or Debuffs is better just what I thought we could use to match hit and run tactics

I think it was mentioned long ago that Ciel will take up basic stuff like basic strength or stamina augmentations on their own, so getting a strength augmentation would mean leaning Ciel towards doing things that requires higher than average strength.

If we want to be combat ready, we should probably get a good weapon I think.

eh...fine
Anyway, i mentioned rapier, but now I think about it, I don't really want to go with that simply because I don't really like it.
hmm...
A short one hand axe that goes in quick and comes out quick like Roidon's axe feels pretty good for me, Brutal, efficient and easy to use since we already have experience from the pipe.

Ehh. Im fine with the rapier, even if I do think that swords are too common, but I just dont like axes.

Also, @AUnderSave , Maybe you should change your vote to [] Buy a Workshop weapon? Since you seem to be trying to add a special debuff, and we need a Workshop for that

Okey Dokey. Just going with a Short Sword since that's the in-between of an Axe and a Rapier right?

[X] Use the money to buy a Workshop Short Sword.
-[X] You notice an Ad for Smaller and Speedy Weapons. As you get a better look at it there seems to be a deal on weapons made for wounds that are more potent and debilitating (Bleed or Debuffs)

If we go for the workshop route...

This might be better.
[X] Buy a Workshop weapon.
-[X] Buy a bat with a focus on applying paralysis.

Paralysis is the king of debuffs. No other is as great at our current level. Plus, it's easier for Ciel to use it too since it's really similar to their pipe.

I contemplated trying Tremor like Heathcliff but that's a bit iffy.

[X] Buy a Workshop weapon.

Paralysis, so electric bat.

I actually really like the electrical bat.

Hmm, still contemplating whether to add a vote for not selling the axe. Thoughts on that?

Could be electric could be something else.

The City is wack.
I always thought of Para to be electricity pulsing through your muscles causing them to flare up and down repeatedly causing them to be harder to use. Like constantly making them flex and relax at inopportune times.
Anyways I'm fine with this one since I just wanted a weapon that matches Ciel and this works.

Seems like default is selling it nonetheless.

I don't think keeping it would matter much since this is pre-SoL, so Dexter and Parvati being so cold is a common thing...

I still wanna try though. Might vote for a vote calling to tell Dexter to keep it since it's his best friend's memento.

the icon for paralysis is a lightening. And most of the time we saw paralysis in game is because we are using a electric weapon So electric bat it is.
hmm, a electric exo skeleton taps the temple of a man and fries their brain.

Alright, since someone else seems interested in it.

[X] Buy a Workshop weapon.

[ ] Sell Rookwood's Axe to have more funds to split 3-way between Dexter, Parvati and Ciel
[X] Keep Rookwood's Axe and give it to Dexter to keep as a memento of his best friend

@Naron is it possible to add the choices above to the original post? So people don't need to wonder where it came from

Oh not sure if it's allowed but since Ciel was weirded out by Dexter being pretty neutral to Rookwood's death can we have Ciel talk to Parvati about that since she didn't seem to notice according to Ciel? Unsure if that's allowed since this vote is about our choice in the upgrade but not talking about it feels weird.

It's how most normal humans react to the folks living in the City...

Parvati might just shrug it off since she's not that close to our boss and senior.

I think Ciel will talk to Parvati about it regardless, but especially if we choose not to sell the axe (since she will probably ask why).

EDIT Changed votes based on @Metarite's suggestion.
[X] Buy a Workshop weapon.
-[X] Buy a bat with a focus on applying paralysis.
-[X] Keep Rookwood's Axe and give it to Dexter to keep as a memento of his best friend
-[X] Talk to Parvati about noticing Dexter's dispassionate reaction to Rookwood's death and how it makes you feel.

Ok, it's just whenever Pov Characters notice something about other characters and don't talk about it even when it bothers them makes me feel disappointed.
Like how Dante noticed that Hopkins was grabbing something and didn't talk about it. Til ya know it was too late. The Dick...

In the first place, Faust or someone else in the gang should've been the one to notice it since they had more experience than Danteh...

But then again that gang is a snowball of disasters so I guess them not seeing it is to be expected.
