I'm a bit worried for the end-game now - with such a strong power block, how can anything hope to challenge us? Ah well, I'm sure Droman will have something~

We don't know how many Dragonsworn there still are. Oldtown was cleared but there are probably others. Add those to the Golden Company and we have drama.

I wonder if this was Olenna's secret plan all along and that she poisoned Mace because he was opposing us marrying/courting Margaery. Chessmistress!Olenna knew we would get legitimized by Robert all along!
 
Baratheon name looks cleaner on paper, but it's also a fact that Stormcrown name was taken with Robert's blessings.So I feel that this vote is more of a cosmetic choice aside from certain relationship affects.

Taking the Baratheon name is kinda poetic, while there is no dishonor in keeping our hard earned name. Plus it's a stong name as well.

If I had voting rights I wouldn't go with Baratheon tho, it kinda feels like reducing our uniqueness but it also smoothes out this heir business on paper.

My knee jerk reaction was to keep the Stormcrown tho because we earned it. Also we're freaking strong in every way imaginable considering Westeros's standards. So noone's actually care if we have the name. Like I said it feels more like cosmetic choice.

Not to ruin your joke, but Olenna poisoning her own son is nigh impossible. I'm sure the Queen of Thorns won't give a shit about killing everyone else, but her own son is simply not on her list no matter how stupid.

I can certainly understand your perspective, but I disagree. The secret that Jon held that had the largest chance of biting him in the ass if discovered has been his parentage. But with the way events have unfolded Robert took the news OSTOUNDINGLY well. Instead of raging and ranting like many of us assumed he would, we are being given the keys to the kingdom.

I'm highly skeptical that one other secret that is peripherally connected to Rhaegar, at best, would be the lynchpin to setting Robert off or just making him feel worse. Please keep in mind that I'm not saying the thu'um should be revealed for no reason. What I was trying to say in my previous post was, that if a situation arises where the thu'um would be a helpful asset, it should be used. Even if it's used publically.

Previous reservations to using the thu'um openly usually stemmed from the fear of fallout from reactions of the Lords and Ladies around the kingdom. Or how the Faith would react. But with the High Septa being firmly in our corner and our (hopefully) new status as crown prince and heir, those potential threats could be nonexistant IMO.
