In the future there will be a white-list of people who can vote. As far as I can tell thoughtful and reasoned posts and just generally good and regular interaction in the quest will get you added to it.

From what I understand the mods and or Droman are going to go through the voters and try to determine who, if anyone, is a sock-puppet. Presumably those votes will then be removed and we will get the real tally.

Another Long Night is pretty damn bad. Oberyn would believe Jon on this.

Jon doesn't need to know IC. Jon talking to Oberyn about can be more of a request to gather support, any that can be offered. In fact, Jon not knowing about Dorne's plots means he doesn't have that incentive to 'exaggerate' things to supposedly trick them into playing nice. It makes the assessment of danger more genuine.

Jon says the threat is dire, that the continent is at stake >> Oberyn believes him >> honest effort to convince his brother to delay own plans.

We should try this in either case and it can work with either marriage.

The Cerenna marriage is all about having Lannister support as well.

Do we have a plan on how to heal Willas if we decide too?
How hard do we want to try and keep are magic abilities secret?
How are we going to deal with Rob's massive amount of salt now that Ned it dead?

1. We'll probably heal him after the marriage when he is tied to jon by family.
2. The general idea has been to conceal the thu'um until the first major war throughout most of the quest.
3. By burning alive all the wildlings and skagosi, obviously.

Yes. That being said, folks, please don't worry too much about it. This is not a witch-hunt, and we aren't about to go banning people left and right. (barring obvious sockpuppets, our standard policy is to investigate and PM the users involved, since most times the accounts are simply two siblings using the same computer or something similar)

I leave for a few hours and look what happens.

Ned dead. Waifu wars actually spilling out into real world politics. Actual sockpuppetting to get a fake, virtual waifu. Seriously, Vice should do a story on this quest.

Here's hoping the next vote will actually be somewhat more civil. And I get a chance to actually participate in it. (Though a part of me is glad I didn't get to be associated with this nonsense).
