The name Mouser reminds of Mouse Protector. Which makes me think of wacky cat-and-mouse hijinks between Mouse Protector and the newly dubbed Squeaker.

Other than that, I'm looking forward to more, CrunchySharpie.
 
'me reading the ending to chapter two' I know the mods will yell at me for this and it probably won't add anything but I can't help it, it fit in too good with that ending.
 
well at least it gave attention to a pretty good fic? but yeah I was expecting an update or something instead of just some guy necroing... still though, that was a really fun read- I hope I'll see more like these in the future

Yeah, I gotta say that I actually don't mind necros like this at all. I've gotten more than one decent read out of a necro bringing something I'd not heard of to my attention, and that's even with me often just sorting by number of words and working my way down the list.

I'm not the best on judgment calls so when I comment on these older threds I tend to assume that I'm breaking the rules then not breaking them. Most of the time I don't even comment but when something lines up purrfectly I just had to make the comment or hate my self for the rest of the day.
 
The hero is way too unimaginative to my tastes. With his power he could quite literally own entire Brockton in a time frame of few hours, without harming anyone except, say, bad guys. Grey Boy + Jack Slash/Strider/Heartbreaker combo = immunity to all harm (Grey Boy), easily finding any parahumans (Jack Slash), easily getting to them (Strider), easily adding them to his army (Heartbreaker). Game over, well played. [Thats assuming he couldn't just get Fairy Queen's power with all her gathered powersets]

Instead he's playing around, doing all kinds of bullshit, not even realizing just how ridiculously OP he is.
 
Well... cat. Patrol around a bit, keep yourself fed and entertained, and otherwise goof off or nap... this shouldn't sound unfamiliar to anyone who has been in the personal service of one of our feline overlords.

It's not an assumption though, the cyoa the fic is using literally says in it's description of the major trump power that power accumulaters like Butcher and Glaistig Uaine (+ Contessa and vial capes) can not be copied

Grey boy's cauldron. Jack Slash has range limits, it's only a vague nudge, and only that because he's so in tune with his shard. The author might not count strider as we barely see him in canon, and heartbreaker is unethical and would immediately catch cauldron's attention so he would need to be hyper cautious.
