Whatever he does will have to fly under the radar of whatever information gathering ability Simurgh uses to choose her targets.

I'm pretty sure that's not how his power works. I think it's the faster he goes the less force he can exert on the world around him. So as long as you don't go to fast he could still use it to speed up the paperwork.
Though I'm not sure what the protectorate would think if they saw him doing so.

But then? Schrodinger hit Taylor with the force of a thousand Disney princes raised to the power of cat. It probably helps that he quite literally made her chemically-inclined to like him during the first couple minutes of their initial meeting before correcting that particular miscalculation, but he did more or less everything else right to ingratiate himself to her. He's the best of a bunch of different worlds. He's simultaneously...
-A cute (in the dawwww sense) boy who let her actually vent her troubles to anyone pretty much since they started over a year ago.
-An adorably affectionate stray cat that didn't have a home to return to and took a shine to Taylor. And finally...
-...a bullshit-tier Trump in the same area code as Glaistig Uaine and Eidolon with the amazing addition of an inbuilt power-granting subpower that puts the like of Othala and Galvanate to shame. Sure, it only works on one person at a time, but it grants that one person any two (non-Cauldron/Contessa) powers, and hahahahaha the potential!
Anyhoo, bottom line is that Taylor's attachment to Schrodinger is plenty believable without even a lewd component. On top of all the stuff I just said, the most recent development boils down to her suddenly having a source of comfort for the first time in even remotely recent memory on top of...well, a bunch of actual hormonal stuff, but also a bunch of reasons why it'd be difficult for her to entirely divorce Schrodinger from the idea of him being more or less a friendly cat that followed her home. And from the look of it...
...it wasn't even really a wholly-conscious decision. I wouldn't even be that shocked if it was a holdover habit from better days. To all appearances, Taylor and Emma had been the kind of close from a young enough age that I'd actually be kind of surprised if they didn't periodically fall asleep in close proximity, or if Taylor (or Emma, really) didn't come to associate that sort of thing with comfort in otherwise dark times.
Also, it's been a long day, so I'm just gonna end things here before I ramble any further.

It's not that I couldn't find a way to bullshit through the paperwork, its that I have to do it at all. Let me reiterate. I hate paperwork. Just the concept of it annoys me. I know it's necessary but I hate doing paperwork because you invariably have to read every line of it, especially when it comes to legalese bullshit and I don't do legalese that well, so I tend to flounder and have to have people explain what things mean, which makes me feel like an idiot. I dislike that feeling.
That I have superpowers that can pretty much laugh in the face of such thing doesn't change my disdain for it any.
Also, not sure if Velocity's power works like that. Vaguely remember his power being objectively normal speeds for him while everyone else was moving slowly, so I'd still have to do the paperwork at the same speed, just not for the people around me.
You put a lot more thought into that than I did but pretty much hit on the head what I was trying to convey, regardless. Well done.

Another part of why it's a wholly innocent thing is that I occasionally need to remind my readers of what I usually write content wise and of the giant
So while such a thing is possible, it's not in the case of this story. I wanted the scene to come off as cute and adorable, that the main character was freaking out and looking at things from a sexual angle was because I'm of both of that mindset and that age, mentally. Taylor is neither of these.
Like I said, I just like forcing my characters, SI's more often than not, into compromising, degrading and embarrassing situations because it balances my karma in story without resorting to grim derping the hell out of things.

An example would be: lets say that he develops aforementioned brute drug for police and armed forces.
Zizbomb: 6 months later you get something like Venom or Blockbuster being sold by merchants and other gangs world wide. It only gets worse from there because now this is a publicly available drug in a world with tinkers. You think China isn't going to abuse the hell out of something like this?

I mean, a Internal Combustion Engine is what the PR department of the CAR INDUSTRY calls it, original name is Internal Explosion Engine, because of the explosion that happens when the fuel is ignited, which propels the cylinders around.
So I would go for somekinda transportation first, somekinda bike or so.

She was also clothed in that scene, so covering herself further makes no sense. However, she had a nightmare of the worst day of her life, waking up in a dark place, not knowing where she was and someone is right in front of her. I used "Covered herself like a shield" for that reason. It was almost a subconscious knee jerk reaction at that point to put things between us, not to convey that she was self conscious of her body but to convey that she was scared and uncomfortable. My next question made her even more uncomfortable because she wasn't sure exactly how she got there herself, just that her nightmare had something to do with it.
Mental fortress is there so I do not mentally lose myself to all the mind altering capes out there, Simurgh included. However, I'm not a blank from the original CYOA. I can still be seen and manipulated by the Simurgh with external stimulus. She likely also has to do this with some other capes anyway, considering some Case 53's don't even have physical brains to mess with in some cases. So she relies on the aforementioned cement truck hammer from God to get things rolling.
She doesn't blam Eidolon or any of the other blind spots she has. Going by canon she apparently just wants to be free of control and free from the cycle. I can do both of these things and I have specifically not thought of any actions against her for that reason. Hell the worst I've thought of at the moment is hugging one of them, not even close to being a threat yet. And technically speaking, she is not my enemy, if I can free her without killing her then I'll try to do so, the Endbringers are just as much a victim of Scion and Eden's bullshit as everyone else is.
Or in other words, she's more likely to head pat me than to head pat me, If you get my meaning. Gonna probably blow some people's minds when they see me being treated like a cat by the Simurgh. My indignity will be broadcast around the world...
