279 Heroes of Taylor (Worm; Fate/Grand Order)

Day 2.1
You guys are sadists, aren't you? Are you asking for a bad end or what? Ok, I guess it is Worm crossed with Fate, but still... Or in other words, Plan Tragic Tale won.

Sigurd, class Saber
Include grants you Brute 4 strength and endurance, Mover 3 speed, ability to manifest a crystal sword and crystal daggers and the ability to fight with them both in melee and in range by punch-throwing(?) them
If you have yet to realise, I will tell you what happens when you Install only when you Install this Servant for the first time ;)

You have always known that Brockton Bay was full of capes, but reading about it on PHO made you realise just how bad it really is. You have read about ABB, Empire and Merchants, learning more than you used to know about their capes, but more importantly, you discovered villains you have never heard about, like Undersiders. This realisation just strengthens your motivation. This, This is what happens when you maintain status que instead of dealing with the evil.

You focus on Merchants today, as they are your goal this evening. You might have power now, but you would like to have more experience before going after Empire or ABB, and even then, you won't approach Lung without some dragonslayer Installed. Smaller guys like U&L or Coil would be on the other hand hard to find. Merchants though? They are a good target for a novice like you, especially with hero as strong as Sigurd Included.

Merchants have three capes: Skidmar, Squealer and Powder. There used to be another one called Mush, but he got killed recently by an unknown cape. Powder's power makes him resistant to poison, disease and other non-healthy stuff, let's him collect it in his body and emit in the form of a spray of brown-green powder that can affect other people through skin and lungs. He could actually help greatly at hospitals, but instead decided to use his powers to spray people with drugs to get them easly addicted.

Squealer is a vehicle tinker. It also seems that she only builds armored slow tanks rather than fast cars, but that is probably just her preference. Skidmar is the leader and his power is dangerous if one let's him prepare, but rather weak otherwise. He can make those forcefields that apply force on all objects inside in one direction. The force is rather small, at the level of a gust of wind, but he can layer them, multiplying the effect.

All in all, not the weakest enemies, but not the most dangerous ones. You leave the library soon after. Before you go home however, you need to buy some materials for your costume. Surprisingly enough, you have found a mask you like in the basement that looks like a gas mask. Maybe father was into cosplay when he was younger? Anyway, even with mask ready, you need some stuff you just didn't have at home.

Despite everything, you are anxious. The city is just unnerving at night. Or maybe it's just the Merchant's teritory. There is trash on the road, no lights other than weak moonlight. Even with the knowledge that you can Include in a sec, you still feel like someone will shoot you in a moment. This is not a place where a girl like Taylor should be. But you are Hamartia, a vigilante who fights evil of Brockton Bay, knowing that it will make her an enemy of not just villains, but also heroes. You won't be scared of some darkness. Besides, with your costume you should be the one intimidating others.
Thank NathanMedium for the picture

That's at least what you have been thinking an hour ago. Now, you are just bored. Really, why is it so hard to find some drug dealer on Merchant's territory?! Have everyone decided to take a break today? You sigh. Maybe you just don't have any luck. Well, you probably should be happy you can't find any crime, but a more cynical part of your mind tells you that it doesn't mean there are no ongoing crimes right now, just that you can't see them.

Then, you hear something. You Include Sigurd, a big crystal sword appears in your hand, and you walk quietly to check the situation. At first, you just see four men, but after taking a closer look, you see a forth figure. It's a woman, no, a young girl. Her rather attention-grabbing clothes are destroyed and she is gagged with something. Rage almost overtakes you, but your mind shouts to you that something is strange. You realize just what is wrong after a second. The men are talking to her without any aggresion, despite being obviously on something. You would have thought she was one of them, but the girl was frightened. You...
[] Observe the situation
[] Attack the men and help the girl
-[] Are 'gentle' with them, knock them out without unnecessary injures
-[] Beat them up, break their bones and generally hurt them before you knock them out
-[] Kill them
-[] Kill them, but make them suffer first

knowledge is power, that girl could easily be a cape who just triggered with a master or stranger power.

Day 2.2
Not much to say today. Well, you should know that I'm planning to post new chapter each day, as they seem to be rather short. If you feel like I'm going too fast, or I myself decide to slow down, then I won't post as often, but this is the plan for now.

Have not been Installed yet

The situation is too suspicious. As much as you would like to jump right in and beat those guys up, for all you know the girl just triggered. Instead, you observe the situation.

The men seem to be talking calmly to each other and to the girl, though you can't hear individual words. The girl still looks scared, but she managed to stop her panic attack and is slowly standing up. One of the men asks her something and she replies something. Whatever it is, they seem satisfied and continue their discussion. The girl is now standing and she doesn't move. Is she observing them? You are not sure, it's too dark to make out such details.

She takes a step back, then another. When she takes the third one however, the men look at her. One of them asks a question, and it's loud enough for you to hear. "Hey, Bob, feeling tired already? We haven't even begun yet, Thomas still bought some good shit today!" The girl hesitates for a moment, but answers in a shaky tone. "I-I-I a-am meeting with m-my f-f-friend soon..." On of the others laughs in response. "Och, a 'friend' you say? You're ladykiller as always Bob, huh?"

The girl just nods and turns her back to them and starts running in your direction. You hide, the girl must be parahuman and you don't want to risk her attacking you. You hear her getting closer and closer, but before she actually gets close to you, you hear the men arguing, one of them shouting words "That bitch!". You are already preparing to jump in when you hear a gunshot and see the girl falling down with a scream. Those men are running towards her lying form, one holding a gun in his hand, two others with knives.

Best to start off without going too far. It's like salt: We can always add more brutality, but we can't take it away as easily.

Guys, if we try to cause pain then they're gonna be screaming. We don't want people coming over, since we need to interrogate the Probably-Stranger.
