So who wants to help build a new Lady Liberty? Complete with Repulsor Torch?

Stark Transcendent and Fragmentation both updating. Today is a good day.
Currently functioning at 1e8% capacity.
Well damn, that's a rather large boost if he's actually accurate here.

While I kind of want to do support, Jarvis will be better at it then we could ever be, and there is no reason for us to step on each others toes, so it is better for Stark to boost the tech while Jarvis administrates. And if Stark is doing that we may as well go for the check-up that boosts tech as well.

He's a smart guy. He could help out by lending his brainpower to figuring out solutions and countermeasures.

White light - you remembered that from some other time. From somewhere else. You felt warm and cold at the same time.

Wings encircled a world, and a mournful cry resounded as it crumbled to dust. Wings encircled a star, and it sputtered out, leaving only the cold. Wings encircled a newborn soul, and it ignited into glory.

Phoenix option became something different this time, most interesting given that it usually involved us dying and then getting death visions

Wonder if that means our connection with the phoenix has grown strong enough to actually use the PF

It didn't matter that your suit was in pieces, though. Fafnir had been bisected.

Hell Yeah

The rest continued on… the one remaining wing attempting to right the remains of the body. Somehow, impossibly, it seemed to be working.

Hell No! No wait I mean what the actual fuck

Pyre engulfed everything, sweeping through the defending forces which had thus far been ahead of the toxic cloud. A thrill of fear ran down your back for a few moments, although you weren't sure why.

Ah Goddamn

Another tumbled through the sky in two parts, and you averted your eyes in horror

Ah No Double goddamn!!!
It's either Rhodey or Storm, damnit

"Rhodes and Stark are down, Northstar, the Human Torch, and Storm are MIA

Most likely Rhodey, goddamnit

Well at least we didn't choose the teamwork option, that would have definitly gotten more people killed

the Edison missiles aren't doing as much as we hoped they would, not much beyond pissing it off anyway.

And here we see that the SHIELD option wouldn't have helped either,

Stark bought us time, though. Options, people?"

Damn straight we did, this shows once again that PHOENIX/DEATH choices are the choices of our trust

with at least a dozen pending requests for updates by all sorts of top brass. If this thing hit land, there was no telling what they could get up to without his input.

Ugh, we need to finish this quickly before these guys get twitchy fingers, the thunderbolts would be among the least terrible option they could choose at this point,
Would, after all still be better then a missle heading straight for NYC

Ha, he called Tony 'Boy', sure he's gonna love that :V

"Different loadout. Old-style repulsors, but a whole array of more conventional weapons. Plenty destructive, but no death beams. And I'm not sure if it's… still functional."

Oh god Rhodey what happened to you:cry:

"...His power is on the fritz, he says. He can't manage to keep pace. Probably overloaded himself; he's never channeled this much energy in the middle of a thunderstorm before. Needs a few days of bedrest, but he's of no further use to the battle."

So the Interlude gave him just more power instead of better control, so clearly the opposite of what we hoped for, but given that we got everything we asked for, it's not all that bad

Experimental project Hellion activated.

Can somebody tell me whether that is good or not?
Cause while the Power-up sure is nice, I'm not sure whether the narrativ is at this point

one of the little picture-in-picture shots from your suit cameras. It showed the ample… middle… of your savior.

Saved and uploaded into the cloud for 'combat evaluation' :V:V:V

you were unconscious for only four minutes this time.

That is both short and long
Short for Tony's usual stunts involving the PF
And long given at what speed Fafnir moved beforehand

"Status of the suit, Jarvis?"

"Catastrophic damage, sir. As per usual."

Yeah nothing new here
Maybe we should invest into that survival suit upgrade, then maybe he would acutally survive us :V:V:V:V

Among them flew a fleet of vessels as well, each more rickety than the last. There were helicopters, old fighter jets, even an airbus that was missing half its fuselage. They were old remnants of things you'd once worked on - that airbus was from a year or two earlier, when you were attempting to build an electric jet after you'd gotten into a little tussle with Elon Musk. Among the fleet, looking a little dilapidated, flew the Starkbird, its canopy missing and stuffed with something you couldn't identify, and half its engines hanging loose behind it. And on its tail were dozens of S.H.I.E.L.D. Quinjets, firing away with their electric warheads.

Yay?

Ah. You saw how it was. It hadn't taken Jarvis long to trace your footsteps.

The Starkbird flipped over, exposing half a dozen intact repulsor engines, the last few that had survived a trip to space. The beam that flashed out was miniscule, and it didn't last more than a tenth of the duration your own had - you barely had time to see it at all. But Jarvis was an AI - he didn't have to rely on human reaction times to do the dirty work.

Yeah definitly 'Yay!'

"Shit! It's gonna crash on Liberty Island…!" you cried in horror, just as Fafnir made contact like a meteor, crushing half the island beneath itself and taking down Lady Liberty, toppling her into the bay.

Well we have to look at the bright side, that way at least people gonna believe it was real

[ ] Come On, You Apes. You Wanna Live Forever? : These are the last steps, the final strides of the marathon. Everything hurts, but it is not yet time to rest. Once more unto the breach.

Going for the final kill, highest chance of success, but us being there in the thick of it might allow fafnir to regain enough sanity to tell everybody where Pyre came from

[ ] Non Nobis Solum Nati Sumus : You may no longer have the power to strike down this enemy, but you did not come here alone. Time to make sure they can succeed where you cannot, by supporting them wherever you can.

Here we ensure that people whose suits are breached get out before they are killed, least chance of getting the kill done, but higher chance for everybody involved to survive

[ ] Sufficiently Advanced Technology Is Indistinguishable From Magic : Where are those tech dweebs, anyway? Reed and Pym must've had enough time to come up with something. Maybe they just need a little prodding from a fellow genius?

Getting the science team, gives us an upate in what they are up to and gets them involved into the battle, might even give us additional 'friendship points' if we aren't an asshole about this and they actually have something to contribute to the battle

[ ] Finally, Everyone Was Working Together : Focus on coordinating the various available forces, and ensuring constant communication between everyone. This should ensure a more effective application of force, and prevent mid-battle confusion.

Empowers combatants and lessens the chance for friendly fire

[ ] Assuming Direct Control : Use newfound abilities to hijack every piece of tech available for use in the conflict, focusing entirely on raw violence. May ruffle feathers and scare others, but it should significantly enhance combat damage.

Max damage output in exchange for friendship point as jarvis takes all the toys to play by himself

[ ] Nor Through Inaction Let Come to Harm : Focus all abilities on protecting the less resilient on the battlefield, using available resources to ensure minimal casualties.

Highest chance of getting everybody out alive

[ ] Tech Crew (+Tech) : Check in with the smarties, who have been studying Pyre and possible countermeasures, but have been relatively isolated from the battlefield until now. (Includes Hank Pym, Beast, Mr. Fantastic.)

Means better tech and higher chance for friendship points with the brains

[ ] Ground Crew (+ Combat) : Check in with the ground troops, who have arrived to take part in the final charge on Liberty Island. (Includes Spider-Man, Human Torch, Shocker, Deadpool.)

Better combat power and higher chance for friendship point with the brawns

[ ] ??? Crew (+ ?) : Mystery Option - results may vary. (Includes ?, ?, ?, ?, ?)

more mystery to the mystery option and chance for friendship points with some mysterious people, might involve Doc Strange
