Don't we still have the Prototype Starkbird Engine in the labs?

What if we set that up on a mounted turret type deal. We might not give it quite as much instantly-maiming damage, but we can still pound it down. Keep it on the back foot while others try for a kill shot.

We just need some people who are both strong and smart to help set it up. I recommend Shocker, Doc Oc, Tony, Pym, Richards, Beast, and either a flier who can carry the entire assembly up to a good vantage point, or a Big Rig chopper requisitioned from SHIELD
 
just realized Fafnir is like Pika from one piece, he has a core that controls and grows everything from somewhere in the mass, when we split the body one half was active and the other was inactive, we need to keep cutting it up till we find the core.

Is there anyway to have the Shocker whip out an Arc core powered Bass Cannon at this point?

Think we should definitely work with Reed and Pym since Tony's best weapon is his mind and it would seem like the place he could best put his best talents to work.
