[x] Help this 'Immaculate Cloister' deal with these 'disease spirits'. An epidemic is always bad.
Hah. That's no choice at all, is it? You wonder if vaccinations would work in this world. Questions for later.
"I will help you stop these disease spirits."
The woman nods solemnly. "Very well then. Follow me and I shall lead you to the cloister." She turns and begins walking, you follow.
After a moment she speaks again. "My name is Thrice Splitting River, what should I call you spirit?"

"I see." is her reply, and she remains silent for the rest of the trip.
Finally, you come to a modest building. It looks more like a school than a temple. River opens the door and waves you in. You follow.
It turns out there are a number of people, some of whom are even learning to read and write. None of them seem to notice you however, as River leads you through the building. Then to an office. Inside the office is a desk and behind the desk is a man who looks up and definitely sees you.
He pinches his nose. "Dammit, River. What now?"
"He has agreed to help us against the obstinate disease spirits we've been trying to negotiate with in exchange for being taught how to read and write Riverspeak." She answers calmly.
The man quirks his eyebrow, and turns questioningly to you. You nod. He snorts, "Well, I won't turn away the help. No reason to let yourself be outnumbered when you don't have to. I am Vithka Niktar, the abbot at this cloister. River has told me about her spirit watching. I must admit some curiosity as to your eagerness to assist us with the disease spirits."
[] Do I need a reason to help save lives?
[] It's not like I'm not getting anything out of it.
