Yeah, I'm not stabbing out partner. He is still a part of us.

Besides it's a cheap and short way to power. It seems like it would be a weak and fragile way to grasp power if you get what I mean. We wouldn't really be gaining true strength if we attacked him now.
 
I would like to point out that if we simply subjugate the powers like Ichigo did with the Vizards all we're going to end up with is a mask and a possibly resentful Zanpaktou as it becomes more hollow like.

I'd much rather we start down the path canon Ichigo eventually got to where he got his shinigami powers working in Harmony with his hollow abilities.


Instincts are a massive part of being a hollow, so choosing the most instinctive option for Ichigo is the best way to control it rather than just letting Zangetsu contain it while we steal a lot of his power.

Think of it like a zombie bite victim. If the victim asks you to kill them, and you refuse, they still turn into a zombie.

That design, compared to Dangai!Bankai!Tensa Zangetsu, sucks. But it's a great idea in theory.

This is nothing like that though, this is happening in the middle of Ichigo's soul where Zangetsu has been inflicted with a portion of hollow energy, energy that is affected heavily by INSTINCTS, immediately acting on his instincts and using all his power to refuse Zangetsu sacrificing himself is very likely to do something.

We see in canon that it's possible to control hollow power (masks) and even Harmonize with it (Ichigo's fusion form vs Ywach) so it's nowhere near the same thing as the certain death of a zombie bite.

Huh. Why would she have a limiter? Only Captains and Lt. get limited usually. Ikkaku for instance didn't get a limiter when he went to the world of the living.
