The whole point of winning the tournament was to make a good impression on the higher ups. We did that. Ichigo should take advantage of it while it's still fresh.

And Komamura is a good guy to know.

Zangetsu doesn't tell us when to do anything. We're the one with thumbs everywhere we are. And can't have them thinking they run stuff between us. Besides, if something comes up before we get around to them, we'll just shank the problem.

Also, I doubt anyone hanging with Kukaku would get all that upset about us not heading to see them first thing.

Komamura's not that time sensitive for us, but they are (possibly) taking time from their work to see us, so it couldn't hurt to at least get that scheduled beforehand.

That was a good way to win that fight.

Zangetsu being a drama queen aside, it showed good power, good tactics, was embarrassing for the jerk we don't like, and didn't end up with Ichigo looking like some kind of violent maniac.

Jirobo should have gotten out of the way of the truck.

The other options have a 4 week timer. They can wait.

Zangetsu, on the other hand, is not someone we should remain at odds with. The sooner this is fixed, the better. People trying to "show him who's boss", or trying to "punish him for being so petty" aren't really acting any differently. This is a partnership, there needs to be compromise. So far, Ichigo has only been taking and giving nothing back. All Zangetsu is asking for is for us to stop trying to shrink him (or possibly constantly remain released); he's not asking for a whole lot.

Komamura has a 4-week timer. Kukaku has an unknown timer while Zangetsu can't go anywhere and thus has an unlimited timer. He can wait.

I will note that appeasement is very clearly not compromise. While Zangetsu may have a very valid point, he picked a particularly nasty time to pull that trick, and in general? He acts like Revlid said, like a spoiled child. There were good reasons for making that decision about Zangetsu's sealing, and we knew Zangetsu's thoughts on the matter at the time.

The crowd in the stands kicks into an uproar. Were none of them watching earlier? Were they watching, and just really feeling the mood because of this guy's monologuing? It feels kind of corny to you.

It's either this or Zangetsu, and I'm inclined to let Zangetsu stew a bit after that stunt. Komarura is great, but I'd rather have Zangetsu under control before meeting with him.
