The strawberry has standards and modesty he won't give away his soul all free like his grandpa.

Though that would have been a creepy reveal at the end if Ichigo had Ywachs powers and gets stronger when his friends died, and would tie back to the explanation of how his energy gave them powers.

Working on control never hurts, helps us hone a very useful skill considering Ichigo's Stamina of "Yes" and it really helps a friend out. It's kind of his thing.
