First up, no, I'm not dead. Just been kinda busy at work and being very tired at night so I wasn't able to work on the upcoming interlude.
I don't want the next update to be crappy and went on to research the Achaean period, only to come out with jack squat on around the topics I wanted to know. So yeah, got too absorbed in research and came out with nothing. Well, I still learned a small amount needed to explain Medea's rituals and reasons for her choice of occupation, among certain worldviews of her that most guys would be saying "Go Explode, Normie!" to Shirou.
For the beginning part of the update, I pretty much went through Symphogear and Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere for weaponry inspiration.
The point was, I have this research but the amount of time and motivation needed to carefully plan out the upcoming update has been lacking these days due to being busy.
What amount of time I have each day spent writing could only be used on some of my other projects that require less planning as I had more things prepared beforehand for them already.
This is all because you voted for Medea to prepare a bath! Don't you know modern baths don't exist in the past? The grail doesn't give such frivolous knowledge!
...
Ok, serious talk here, why would the grail tell them how to prepare a bath?
the connection to Akasha, same reason why they know what cars are
The short answer is that Medea has proper tutelage in such things due to gender expectations as well as religious training.
People in Medea's period, along with people like Heracles, Hector (Best Husbando), Achilles, Greater Ajax (Fuck Lesser Ajax btw for doing what he did to poor Cassandra of Troy)... live in a time where there were two types of people: Free People, and Slaves.
Free people are divided pretty much into the royalty, merchants, soldiers, civil servants (their equivalent), land owners and religious people.
Slaves are property, end of story. No matter what their occupation may be.
The role of women back then were not documented, and what little we know of that time period is that they have little relevance outside of the people they were married to or if they had some sort of fate like poor Iphigenia. What we do know, is that spoils of war to women were a lot lesser compared with men.
Outside of Cassandra, who gained and owned much more than most men, more to do with her status...
At any rate, the only place where women would have any significant social role was in the priesthood. This applied to Princesses as well. And there began Medea's internship with her older senpai Circe...

This music video... holy shit, I teared up at the end.
It has clips from the Prisma Shirou movie. And they included parts from where Shirou finally reaches Miyu at the end.
His face was so broken and so happy.
