Hoho feels like it's too close to canon Ichigo to me. I really wasn't a fan of his 'Go sanic then getsuga tenshou' tactics that he used for pretty much the entire anime. Not Manga? REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I'd like to see some more variety from this Ichigo who's actually getting an education and isn't a one-trick pony. Although, concentrating on one thing is the easier way to achieve greatness which is what we want, so :jackiechan:

Oh, for those wondering about divisions, I'd like to point out that the Thirteenth Division does not only have an open Officer Spot, but it is also responsible for investigating spiritual bullshit happening on Earth. It's the fastest and easiest way to get Ichigo to Earth to check on the fams and friends. It also seems to be a division of all-rounders, so Ichigo can keep improving in all areas once he jumps in there.

They also need help, a crazy amount of it.

Oh, chose Bakudo not only for the binding stuff, but the sheer utility it shows in canon, from sealing to broadcasting messages to counter-spelling to shielding, it does pretty much a little of everything. Now add that to the Kaido we're learning.

Imagine us using our cloth to spin out sword then throw it while using a spare finger to send out lightning strikes at opponents as they try to dodge. However as I typed this out I realized our cousin could help us out on our kido so its a moot point.

His tensai Zangetsu is so disappointing compared to everyone else's bankai.

When has a problem ever appeared that a shounen protagonist couldn't get through by using even more overwhelming force. Also it helps us integrate his real life fighting skills with his new sword skills.
