Fate/Kaleid Emiya: In making the mother of all omelets, you can't worry about a few eggs

Waking up early in the morning was routine for you, as an Ally of Justice needed to fit and all.

While you have given up the ideal, that didn't mean the goal of a top performing body wasn't something to strive for.

Especially when you are up against Servants.

That said, somehow you doubt exercise will do you much good when the spiritual containers had latched onto you boosting your abilities to match and even surpass that of EMIYA summoned in an Archer class container.

Even so, a good habit shouldn't be dropped just like that.

First step, silently using one of your 108 Onii-chan skills to sneak out of Medea's grasp.

For all she said about not needing sleep she sure does enjoy it.

...Oh? The PS2 is on. It seems that she had played some Final Fantasy X while you were asleep.

Come to think of it, you didn't so much as dream or notice anything wrong as you slept.

Perhaps it was due to whatever magical charm that was on the ceiling the night before.

When you started to feel it wasn't as effective as you would have liked, you decided to switch things up by practicing reloading and aiming Kiritsugu's Thompson Contender.

"Nearly two seconds… Kiritsugu would call this sloppy."

Especially with a Servant's speed.

You must have been subconsciously slowing yourself down while handling the gun.

It was time to fix that by being more optimal with the time you have.

So you practiced again and again.

Your Origin and Element may have shifted to 'Sword', but it hasn't truly affected the rest of your ability in magecraft and the mundane.

It was likely due to the special circumstances of your encroachment from EMIYA that resulted in you maintaining your skills.

Namely, you had already learned about your Origin before the invasion of the Heroic Spirit into your being.

Regardless of the past, the path right in front of you is foggier than before, but nonetheless the goal you're aiming for is still the same.

Thinking about what you needed to do, first things first… you needed to cook breakfast.

What kind of breakfast to cook? Hmm, this is a true conundrum.

Surely you should vary it a bit in terms of regions as Medea likely never got to taste a whole lot of different foods back in her time.

While you could cook many dishes from all over the world due to your travels and Kiritsugu's horrible cooking skills, you needed to pick one that suited your available ingredients.

"Ah… Bingo."

After commandeering the monk's kitchen, you asked that someone go run for more ingredients from the closest supermarket while you got to work.

Of course, you gave them the money to buy the ingredients.

How many stoves are there?

Four stoves, more than enough pans.

You put on your apron and cooking headband.

First up, separate the egg yolks from the egg white into two different bowls.

You whisk the egg whites on high until the peak forms and add two teaspoons of sugar… mix the yolks… make the sauce...

There were many other steps but you found yourself lost in the motion as you cooked four omelets at once, flipping them to the astonishment of the monks, Issei and Medea… and many other steps.

You served the first few servings to Medea and Issei, along with two other monks.

Introducing them to your Mini Souffle Omelette.

"It's jiggling! Hehe!" Medea giggled as she took a spoon of the fluffy omelet.

"Heh! You'll find that it has a bit of magic once you put it in your mouth."

She did.

"Mmmmmmmm! Wow, super delicious! It dissolves like bubbles in my mouth and vanishes!"

Meanwhile, Issei seemed to be testing the springiness of the omelette before finally trying it. His reaction was stunning, and he ate it up while savouring it before leaving for school.

You continued to optimize your preparation method until you finished serving all the monks, leaving one of the meals for yourself.

"Thank you for your hard work, Shirou! It was a wonderful meal." Medea clapped and expressed her thanks.

"Happy to serve." You exclaim while removing your headband.

Now that you've eaten your breakfast, you decided to plan your day.

While you'll like to learn as much as you can about the other Master's of the war, you know that outside of the Einzbern, Matou and Tohsaka household's, the other two are Master's are unknowns.

Bazett and Atrum were from the Magus associations, but from what Medea knew from what Atrum learned from the last war, it seems that there was a non-magus of a Master causing all sorts of trouble.

Does that mean that one of the Master's won't be a Magus? Who knows. But it simply means that you can't rely on Kiritsugu's thermographic cameras to look for a Magus unless it's in a combat situation as anyone could be a Master.

… And if you do find some Master's, perhaps you should see who is amiable to an alliance and who you definitely cannot agree with.

Kotomine Kirei is now the Master of Lancer, you would have thought he was a Master of another Servant beforehand but it seems unlikely as the only other Servant that was summoned is Berserker.

And according to Medea, Berserker was currently overseas.

That pair hasn't arrived in Fuyuki, and there are no other Servants summoned yet. Even then, unless Kirei is one of those Clock Tower blue-blood family magus's with at least 50 A-Rank Magic Circuits like the former Lord El-Melloi then it's unlikely they could support two Servants.

The Matou… either Shinji or Sakura could be a Master.

You can't discount either one of them.

If there's something you noticed with coming from a parallel world is that there are extreme similarities in circumstances when it comes to some people.

This world's Shirou Emiya still had the same routine as you even though he hadn't been trained by Kiritsugu.

"Medea, can you check up on the Emiya household for me?"

As you asked, Medea took out a TV remote and turned on the TV screen we bought yesterday that was hooked up to the PS2 now.

The screen displayed the Emiya household from an airborne view.

"Nice! You did it!"

"It wasn't much. I worked on it for about half an hour after I needed a break from playing Final Fantasy X."

"It's still very amazing through. No modern magus could do something like this and… well, they still wouldn't even dream of using modern technology."

"Aha~ I just did my best!"

Looking through our large screen scrying TV, we note that there are some different people in the house.

As the first area we were looking at was the dining room, we first noticed a short haired brunette talking with Shirou about various things.

Apparently this Fujimura Taiga is an English teacher at your school, strange, you don't recall her being there before.

Perhaps she had died all those years ago.

"Ah, my Shirou has become a delinquent. Staying up late all night and not remembering to cook his dear guardian her breakfast!"

"I don't remember you ever raising me Fuji-nee. If anything the freeloader here is closer to a delinquent status than the cook."

Shirou Emiya says without any remorse as what seems to be invisible arrows stab into the heart of the English teacher, leaving her twitching on the ground.

"Shirou-kun is so mean! Why can't you be super nice like Sakura?"

What.

"Hmm, I don't know what you're talking about Fujimura-sensei. I think senpai is right on the mark."

A purple hair girl remarked as she was washing the dishes in the kitchen.

How.

Why.

Why is she there?

"Wah! Even Sakura-chan has turned against me!"

"Fuji-nee. You're going to be late to your teacher's meeting."

"Crap! Gotta go!"

The brunette rushed out while the two students continued cleaning up the after breakfast.

Your hand found itself towards the TV screen, touching the image of the girl who gave her life for yours.

"Sakura…" You mutter under your breath.

Is she happy here?

She looks happy with Shirou.

"Do you love him, I wonder…"

So many similarities between worlds, you wonder if she loves this version of you just as back then.

"Shirou?" Medea called out, before changing the focus of the display. "Look at her hand."

No.

"Hey, Sakura! Did you cut yourself? Come on, I'll get the first aid kit."

"I-it's nothing senpai. Really, I-I just got some red paint on my hand."

"Sakura… is Shinji beating you again?"

"No! Onii-san isn't doing anything like that. I was just clumsy… ahaha."

Fuck.

Damn it world!

Why couldn't it be Shinji?

If it was Shinji it would be so goddamn easy to deal with!

"... Can I just use Rule Breaker to take her Command Seals?"

"It doesn't work like that. Rule Breaker breaks contracts. Our case was incidental. It was because you killed Atrum at the same moment with Rule Breaker that the Command Seals were slated to return to the Grail but found it's way to you instead while transferring the contract."

"Then what can I do, Medea?"

"... We can try work with her, I'm sure we'll get along. If she knows this Shirou then she'll be more willing to trust you as well. But if you want her out of the war without damaging her magic circuits by removing her Command Seals then… it'll take some time to remove them delicately."

You would need to follow this Rin Tohsaka as she walks back home to find out where she lives, the Matou household is easier to find as it's the same place the old Sakura used to walk towards.

At first, the Matou household looked pretty normal.

Until you reach down into the basement and saw those wretched worms.

Familiars of a sort.

"The system of Entomomancy. It reminds me of a pair of Eastern Magi that experimented on their daughter by using tiny worms as magical crests until they made bacteria that could amplify Magic Circuits as they grew up." You recited coldly as you finally recall that such research was credited to a dead Zouken Matou back in your world.

You didn't think much of it back then, and it was just another magus to you that was already long dead… but now, this knowledge seems to be useful.

"That's… how could they do such a thing to their own daughter?!" Medea was outraged.

"That's the Magus's of this era I guess. And I bet the same thing is happening with Sakura or even Shinji… but somehow I doubt the latter was part of it."

Deciding to take a break from such things, we looked through our resources.

The former Master of Caster had plenty of Mystic Codes.

However, much of them were inefficient and a good amount that you took from him had already expired due to needing daily maintenance.

Medea said it was no big loss since they were inefficient anyways. Most of them would amplify the efficiency of his weather manipulation magecraft and primitive witchcraft.

Primitive Curse. An old form of sacrifice that took from other living beings to power their own spells. Compared with Witchcraft that used the caster's own body along with sacrifices, this was extremely inefficient.

No wonder he brought in so many young girls.

There were plenty of notes on Alchemy, but compared with the single book you recall Kiritsugu having as a reward from an Atlus alchemist for dealing with something troublesome, this was rather rudimentary.

The ability to manufacture magic crystals was well done, but in the end, Medea could do such a thing with the mana in the air with such efficiency that you may as well burn his research.

You did just that.
