Would make the technology come under more scrutiny.
We might need to make some adjustments, but with the proper technology, text, music and teens I'm pretty sure we can make this work devastatingly well.
And it means that we've got the entire Spanish speaking world to work with, which is... about 1 billion people. And mostly Catholics.
Trust me, we can make this work. We're mad scientists after all, mere sanity will not keep us from success.
Magical Girl Idol Singers are a thing. And worth the risk to be honest.
I mean, so we do our mad science for love and friendship as well now instead of SCIENCE! alone, but I can entirely accept that result.

On the bright side you actually have experience with this... on the not so bright side all of those experiences ended in explosions and cancerous monster but still. Upside healing serum, downside will probably cause super cancer.

-[X] Hopefully this time we can get ahold of test subjects that are more standardized. Humans contrary to popular mad scientist belief make poor test subjects. Not enough standardization. Anyway see what happens when you drip different solutions of reanimation serum on the same pieces of flesh.

If it succeeds than we have healing serum if it fails we'll have cancer monsters. Both will cause cancer 100% of the time.

No. In this game there are no true critfails. Only Failure (which causes negative consequences in addition to simply not working), Minor Failure (Which fails without negative consequences), and Painful Success.

Could we toss a dream creature or other paranatural thing there and see what comes out? Maybe we'll find out new materials that way?
We could eventually make it into:
-A fantastic fridge, sending your food into the next moment you want to eat something. (will probably need a some sort of... unspecified time travel, destination of which could be decided in the future, instead of the moment a thing is sent)
-A superior version of cryogenic- good business venture.
