[X] Try and stop them without your powers. Somehow.
I think in this Situation, and most of Worm, the Problem are less the Powers and more the People.
I think we can do more with talking than by using our Power. Even if we have Thinker Powers.:V

[X] Use your own waves, separate them with what little surprise you have left.

Nothing says we can't talk after separating them.

For fucks sake Contessa, shoot him!

So she shoots the guy she can't have a path for or the girl that shakes off any type of attack she can do at the moment.

David put up a barrier between himself and Rebecca and everyone else. Even if Contessa wanted to shoot either of them, there's a hard light barrier capable of blocking a howitzer cannon between the two of them.

Just a reminder that the thinking of how to use those powers. Because, right now, the way people think is totally different from normal WORM. Right now, this is the golden age. Everyone is thinking on the closest thing to what they consider established paradigms.

Heroes fight villains, they save people and they make the world a better place.

People are going to use their powers to help people, or hurt them, simply because no one right now has smashed the perception of what Heroes and Villains can be.

Some operate outside of this rule yes, but they won't make a big enough splash to change it.

Alex won't smash those paradigms, because he wants them to stay. He will protect it, until someone smashes it beyond repair.

Keep this thought in mind when you look at how everyone interacts with one another so far.

Sure, but Contessa could use her Path to talk Rebecca down. She doesn't need a Gun.
If Contessa doesn't do that she wants something to happen, which is the Point we come in.
So we either use our Power or talk with Rebecca and David.

Because, right now, the way people think is totally different from normal WORM.
What I meant was that Powers still come after Triggers, and they tend to paper over the psychological Damage that caused the Trigger in the first place.
They give a Escape, but don't solve the Problem. That doesn't quite fite Caldron Caps but there is still a Person behind that Power.
There is probably a Reason why Rebecca is restraint by David, right now, that is more about the People in this Room than anything else.

On the other, the closest thing to an unstable force in the world right now.
o_O
I really hope this is a Typo.

So I just finished catching up (although not with the whole thread) and I only have one thing to say...

WHY THE FUCK DO WE HAVE A MOTHERFUCKING LELOUCH EXPY AFTER US!?

Well I have another, but I don't expect it to be answered either. Where on this chart does our Lelouch Expy fall?

There's one I really hope is the answer, one that's obviously the QQ answer, and some that scare me more.

Welcome aboard! Please sign the paperwork to become a member of Cauldron, please ignore the subclause about being a pawn in a game that will eventually lead to salvation.

Seriously, that is the end goal here, no alternative motives. We are a perfectly normal organization here. :V

and I only have one thing to say...

"Because don't you understand? The game has already started!"

:V

We talking the world's perception of him, or his perception?

Because those are two very, very different things.

But doesn't the world's perception shift with respect to time and people? Hell, even his perception changes with time.

But the best question is, "is the Nunally Expy dead or alive?" Because you can't have a proper Lelouch without having a Nunally to shape him. Whether it's a real Nunally or an imaginary ideal Nunally is up for debate.

...

Oh God, please tell me that there's no Suzaku Expy with powers. He was already superhuman before them

First off, I would like to clear something up.

He's not exactly a Lelouch expy. I use pictures and base characters around that picture. It helps me visualize the character and makes them more in my head so I have both the motivation and personal connect to flush out their character and story.

As for the other question, there is no Nunally expy.

Oracle has been through enough shit that he really won't change his views. His trigger event was.... intense, even when thinking about trigger events.

I mean... this can be arranged.

Are you giving me ideas?

Oh shit, she's dead already? Well there goes Plans A though Q. At least Plans R through Y still work. Or are you saying she never existed in anyway shape form, real or imagined? And if not her, who is/was/will be his morality pet (or morality chain, there's a difference after all).

As for the hypothetical Suzaku Expy, I'd say go for it. We can take him. Unless his cape powers support his natural anti-gravity powers. Then we might have problems.

they might just be training
[X] Go to Doctor mother and company, make one of them do something to stop them.

I say again, it's the picture only. In universe backstories no longer apply.

There was never a little sister or morality chain, his trigger event was just Jack Slash level's of horrifying.
