White, sterile, cold… those words came up first when you took in your surroundings.
You were still bleeding, it hasn't been that long since your fight with the holder of the Gilgamesh card.
Ever since she brought out 'that' sword, you knew you had no chance… even so, you brought out ALL of your swords to push back against it.
Just as both attacks were about to commence you were pulled by some kind of magic through a tunnel with lights as myriad of a kaleidoscope.
And you were following this one trail of light… you instinctively knew it was Miyu.
It worked.
Your wish worked.
'After all my mistakes… I failed to become a hero that could save others but… I won… Kiritsugu.'
You could pride yourself as a brother who was able to protect his sister.
It didn't take long to realize as you were walking through the lab-like area that this was some advanced magus workshop judging by the prana in the air.
And to use so many people… this Magus was harvesting them for something.

While you devoted all your power for one person's sakes it didn't mean you wouldn't still save others while you were at it.
And besides, you saw it.

Such a Noble Phantasm that was beyond what modern Mystic Codes could achieve came into your hand as easily as you breathed.
Reappearing behind the dark-skinned blonde haired magus, you stabbed him in the heart with the dagger.

We worked on disarming more traps, curses and the like to get all of his treasure.
She levitated most of the treasure out while you tied them all together, after which, she used some spell that layered a boundary field, some alarms and other spells to make sure no one notices or tampers with the loot the both of you gained.
Normally you would have went to take his Magic Crest but Kiritsugu said that unless there's a hit on a Magus, taking a Magic Crest is pretty much stealing and will have people sent after your head.
So you left it to Caster to make the decision about her former Master.
In the end, she decided to leave it with him as she didn't want to defile his body or anything.
So we set his workshop on fire, and blew it up.
Knowing Fuyuki City, they'll just call it a gas leak or something.

"Yeah… oh, and um, Master is a bit weird so you can just call me Shirou. Family name Emiya, Emiya Shirou."

Also, it would be too obvious for the Ryuudou Temple to be a base for a Caster, although since we're apparently quite early in the war according to Medea who heard it from Atrum… we could afford to swap bases later on.
We went to the Ryuudou Temple and had Medea set up shop there.
You didn't like freeloading so even though she hypnotized the people around there, you offered to fix up their old machinery as part of a temporary stay agreement. A more permanent decision can be made later, but for now, safety was priority and this place was the safest.

Her smile was adorable, you kind of want to pet her on the head.

You withdraw your hand quickly, rubbing the back of your head awkwardly.
"Uh, sorry about that. I used to do that all the time with my little sister so it just happened, I guess. Ah, if I offended you then-"
She cut you off right then.
"It's no trouble at all! A little bit of touching if fine, although being touched too much is something I'm not too fond off but that was nice."
"Okay then… wait, so you're actually the real deal given form? To think that the Ainsworth got even farther in this world…"
"Ainsworth? Did you mean Einzbern?"
"...I think we're having some misunderstanding here."
"I think so too. But, um, do you mind if I heal you now?"
"Is that alright?"
"Of course it is. You're my Master. We can't do our best together if you die of blood loss."

"Pain pain go away,"- she hummed, as if it was an incantation which you sincerely doubted as it was too cute, "Pain Breaker!"
She stabbed your chest with the dagger.
Relief, that was the first thing you felt as the soothing prana covered your body.
There was no discomfort even as your flesh knitted itself back together and the bones inside your body was returned to the right places.
Even as she took out the dagger, it was as if you had never been stabbed in the first place.
"Wow! Thank you! I've never felt better for… quite a long while." You never had the chance to experience magic that convenient before.
She seemed especially relieved.
"Thank goodness. It's good that you're fine."
Well, she doesn't look like she would backstab you if she healed you up so it's probably okay.
"So uh, mind giving me the breakdown on what's the situation? Can we get these people out of here safely?"
"Okay. Um, I was summoned by my previous Master, I tried to get along with him but he was really mean. I tried to be helpful when he said he had made this facility to harvest magic crystals by making them myself but well… he got angry and hit me instead."
"Okay, I'm following so far. What was that about being summoned? Are you saying you are the fully formed spirit from the Throne of Heroes?"
Caster explained about how the Holy Grail War works around here, apparently they were copies of Heroic Spirits at some point in their lives that were fitted into spiritual containers.
The three big families were the Einzbern, Tohsaka and Matou. Of which, you only knew one of them for… reasons.
"Wait, so if we want a wish we need to defeat the other 6 Servants of other classes then?"
"Yes. But um, I'm bad at fighting. Please forgive me, the number of offensive spells I know can only be counted on both my hands, if it's healing or supporting then I can do a lot more."
"I see. Then I'll just have to do the fighting myself again."
"Master… please don't do that, Servants are supposed to fight other Servants. Master's should stay behind."
"I don't think you need to worry about that. What you're looking at is a true imitation of a heroic spirit. If I can win a Holy Grail War by the skin of my teeth by myself, then with your help, we'll win this for sure."
"I-is it really okay?"
"Well, I'll tell you the full story later on. First, we have some important things to do right here and right now."
"Okay! I'll do my best!"
And do her best, she did.
We swiftly freed all the captives together, healed them, before Caster and you used Hypnosis to get rid of the memories of the Magus's mistress's and captives before setting them free.
You made your way back to the centre room with her and kicked the Magus's body to face upwards, before ruffling through his things.
"Master? What are you doing?"
"I'm in a new world. I'm going to need all the resources I can get before blowing this place skyhigh."
"Ah, the Ancient Greek tradition of looting, I see, I see."
She smiled and nodded cheerfully before guiding you to Atrum Galliasta's (You learned through looting his wallet for his ID) bedroom.
She uttered a spell in Ancient Greek and out came a few chests filled with Mystic Codes and some precious metals.

We worked on disarming more traps, curses and the like to get all of his treasure.
She levitated most of the treasure out while you tied them all together, after which, she used some spell that layered a boundary field, some alarms and other spells to make sure no one notices or tampers with the loot the both of you gained.
Normally you would have went to take his Magic Crest but Kiritsugu said that unless there's a hit on a Magus, taking a Magic Crest is pretty much stealing and will have people sent after your head.
So you left it to Caster to make the decision about her former Master.
In the end, she decided to leave it with him as she didn't want to defile his body or anything.
So we set his workshop on fire, and blew it up.
Knowing Fuyuki City, they'll just call it a gas leak or something.
"We'll need a new base, Master."
"Yeah… oh, and um, Master is a bit weird so you can just call me Shirou. Family name Emiya, Emiya Shirou."
"Ah, alright then, Shirou. I'm Medea, let's get along!"

Ah, well, no point in wasting anymore time. It's still nighttime and you wouldn't want to move around during the day if you can help it.
There were a place where Medea said would be the best place for a base, this was apparently the Ryuudou Temple.
Which you knew to be on top of Mount Enzo, the site of the Greater Grail and the Holy Grail Ritual in your world.
On the other hand, you did want to scout around and see what's different in Fuyuki… especially your home. Also, it would be too obvious for the Ryuudou Temple to be a base for a Caster, although since we're apparently quite early in the war according to Medea who heard it from Atrum… we could afford to swap bases later on.
We went to the Ryuudou Temple and had Medea set up shop there.
You didn't like freeloading so even though she hypnotized the people around there, you offered to fix up their old machinery as part of a temporary stay agreement. A more permanent decision can be made later, but for now, safety was priority and this place was the safest.

The next day, you and Medea decided to get the lay of the land as you wouldn't know how different this Fuyuki was without the crater in the middle of the old city. Still, you heard from some of the temple staff that a large fire happened there. (Pick one…)
