Edit that option. Our objective is to get our family out Kings Landing. Why are we going to give them a hostage? especially when Cersei and Joffrey are still in charge and the Bare the ons are going to attack KL.Decent point. I could edit it to make it not outright say exchange...though not denying a possible exchange outright. Cersei may suggest an exchange for a counter offer (or not, just to get one of her children away from the possible wrath of Baratheons).
Isn't Ned not a hostage anymore? The Trial was won, which means he should be free. So, we don't really need to negotiate for Ned's release?
He's in hostile territory with a bum leg and a dependent little girl. He's not going anywhere without a Lannister agreement.Isn't Ned not a hostage anymore? The Trial was won, which means he should be free. So, we don't really need to negotiate for Ned's release?
Honestly I was on the plan about spudman's plans, but your omake convinced me. Great Job, man!@spudman
I wrote a small omake about negotiating for Myrcella as additional insurance against Lannister betrayal. You can include it in your plan, if you're so inclined.
Also, someone brought it up that Ser Barristan may be in danger from Cersei. Perhaps we should do something about that as well?
Might want to mention safe passage out of the city along with our party for Ser Barristan as well, @spudman. He's not a hostage, but Cersei is a vindictive fucking bitch.
Also, might want to make this for some number of months to be determined in the negotiations, rather than an absolute. Charcolt would probably understand it that way anyways, but I like plans to have clarity.

getting Myrcella as a hostage (possibly for free or choosing if we want to exchange hostages).
They want Myrcella to ensure Lannisters keep their word...[X] Plan CM 1.0
Anything that isn't plan spudman. I'd happily support that plan if it weren't for the last part of it, but accepting the possibility of surrendering a Stark as a hostage under the current circumstances is downright crazy. Seriously, did you guys somehow all miss that part?
Well, spudman's plan mentions that the release of Tyrion and Kevan's sons is on the negotiation table. So while "hostage exchange" is a piss-poor way to phrase it, one could consider exchanging those hostages for Myrcella to be what that line refers to. Any plan that ends with a Stark or a servant of the Starks still in King's Landing after Ned and Sansa leave is garbage though, that's not in question.Hey spud, why do we want Myrcella as a hostage when we have Tywin and why are we giving them more hostages ?
IMO we shouldn't give them any more hostages.

Even if we trust the snakes of King's Landing (not just Lannisters! Varys is also there, and chances are he would happily murder a Stark hostage to destabilize the realm) not to bite us, there is still the not at all unlikely possibility of said hostage falling into Renly's or Stannis's hands if/when they take King's Landing. And Myrcella will be worthless to them, so you'll have sacrificed a family member for nothing!
And it's OOC as fuck. How the hell can you believe Ned Stark would willingly let any member of his family remain in King's Landing after this?
That would be sane, and if spudman clarified that that's what he meant I wouldn't oppose his plan and might even support it.Well, spudman's plan mentions that the release of Tyrion and Kevan's sons is on the negotiation table. Thank the old gods for that! There are zero circumstances in which Ned would leave Sansa behind. I'd veto any plan which I felt suggested it.
I've just read through the arguments.Seriously, would all the spudman voters explain their reasoning? Do you guys even realize what you're voting for?
GUYS; YOU'RE VOTING TO LEAVE SANSA BEHIND IN KING'S LANDING. At least that's how it will likely work out if the dice roll poorly enough.
There are zero circumstances in which Ned would leave Sansa behind. I'd veto any plan which I felt suggested it. None that are winning have.
Any hostage exchange rolls would relate to releasing the hostages House Stark has taken, not to surrendering one of their own.
