Keep in mind, asking for monster nest locations is for you to see if there's a monster camp you can raid. You have no elixirs on you, so if you attack it and get hurt you'll have to deal with the injury using normal medicine.

Guys, let us get the treasure over taking on a monster nest.
We are in no way prepared to raid a monster nest at the moment and if we get injured it'll put us at a massive disadvantage in later encounters till we heal.
Treasure will at least get us loot we can use either to buy better equipment or use in combat depending on what it is.

Yeah, thinking about our actually shameful melee weapon situation is enough to convince me to vote for treasure. Although I think we do have a Yiga clan blade, which will do work for us, but I'd rather not rely on it.

So if it's any good he'll be the one using it.
We'd still be stuck with a rusty sword so getting some treasure to fix that should be our top priority before we fight anything.
