Im thinking less Bloodborne, more Dark Souls 3.

The old ones in Bloodborne were at least trying to help, they just ended up fucking up while doing it, or having humans fuck it up anyways.

I don't think the Gods of the Deep are trying to help even a little.

Telling Annabelle she's cursed now is going to mean she'll take it in the worst light possible, probably.

So she'll assume it's somehow Mordred's fault. Or something. Despite the chronology.

Not really. Most of them just had... something like aligning goals with some humans. Like the Pale Moon and the Hunters. Pale Moon doesn't give a flying fuck about other humans though and she/it's one of the nice ones.

Not to mention Bloodborne is one giant shout-out to Lovecraftian Mythos and basically none of the things in there are nice or good to humanity.

Let's not risk giving ourselves away, please. She hates us and she will tell the knights who hate us that we are Morgan. We need to prove that we are good first, or else they will cut off all contact with us at best. How is telling her "your cooking sucks because you are cursed" going to help us?

She can't tell that Morgan is Mordred. Literally can't. The disguise spell switching over to Mordred meant that when she saw us, she wasn't seeing the guy she'd been having school with, she was seeing Mordred, the random guy who attacked her after popping out of a crystal then booked it and later got caught playing music for change.

It's still kind of odd to suddenly tell our enemy about her cursed brownies. At best, it comes out of nowhere. At worst, it can give her a lead to us. A new student did just arrive and tried her brownies after all, just after she released us.

Yeah, it's odd, but even if we walk up to her face totally naked and using a giant sign that proclaims our identity to preserve our modesty, she still won't be able to make the connection, 'was my point.

On the subject of the curse, sure it seems odd, but that's the point. Right now, she's convinced we're the enemy, the best way to change that view is to confuse the issue, make her doubt.

If we don't tell her, we lose an opportunity to do so for a looong time.
However, if we do tell her, she'll probably think we did it, or we're lying, or etc etc. Given her reaction to seeing us in a dream, she isn't going to take it in any positive way whatsoever.

... So yeah, there's that.

Also, Annabelle hates us alright. Like, wow. Partially because she is sick of this shit, and partially because whatever lingering remnants of Artura that remain have been freaking out since she first saw us. But damn, this proves it. There is no way we can talk to these people unless we really prove to them, somehow, that we aren't with Teg or Morgana or the rest of the crazy people.

As for the Ladies of the Lake. We, uh, we're in Bloodborne now. Shit.

Fuck it. It doesn't matter if she hates us more as Mordred since we really don't go around as Mordred instead of Morgan. And this possibly is a start down the path to her trusting us.

Yeah, she'll probably assume the worst, at least at first. But a little digging will likely put it to light that Mordred couldn't have been behind that particular curse, and I'm sure someone will be cool-headed enough to point it out. The alternative is to sit on this info for who knows long while she suffers, and then risk our Morgan identity as we try to explain why we're checking her for curses, and how we're so good at it.
