[X][Intentions] Write In: "I'd like to smooch your sister, but I also want to smooch this other girl, so I'm trying to get them in the same country to talk this out before making any moves. So if we could focus on this whole civil rights thing so I could get back to that, I'd really appreciate it."
Been reading for a little while but haven't voted until now... Really not happy with the idea of kicking Seraphine to the curb.* I mean... Imagine your friend, for whom you possibly have feelings, goes on a dangerous rescue mission abroad. You offer to go with them to help but they tell you no and leave you behind, supposedly for your own safety. They then return and announce that they're in a relationship with the person they went to rescue. That cannot feel anything other than
awful. Even if people are looking for an exclusive Lux/Jinx relationship, that should mean being honest with Seraphine and letting her down in person, not running away and treating her as an afterthought.
*And, just for clarity: I'm even less happy with the idea of courting Lux with the implicit goal of dating Seraphine too. That effectively entraps Lux in a polyamorous relationship without talking about it with anyone involved first.
As funny as the write-in is, Demacia is the kind of country where there's a 50% chance Garen will stab us right there for suggesting a polycule involving his sister.
I don't think that the write-in sounds like that to someone for whom monogamy is culturally expected - more like 'I have romantic feelings for two people and need to work out which of them I am committing to, and cannot do that now, on the spot'. Sure, it's quite blunt and a
little rakish, but a) Garen's being similarly blunt and b) it's also quite mature in its own way? (Of course, Jinx may be thinking about a romantic relationship with both at once, not just committing to one, but, well... Garen doesn't need to know that. Yet.)
