Not really any competition here, I guess I can close the vote a bit early and get to scheming.

  • [X] Plan WHATS IN THE BOX
-[X] [Focus Action] Poke Reinald about Hordebreaker Finale ideas (get them added to our list of known possible), any basic rotes/meditations he thinks we should grab, and any issues he has with our build. We know our skills are kinda low at points, we plan to raise them after the tourney. Also, can he look into sorting out a way we can test fire the Clever Deflection + GKB counter finale we are working on this turn so that we can get it to Refined, preferably the turn after the tourney as we have some plans for our current Zeal up until the tourney.
-[X] [Secondary Action] Go out, do minor good deeds in the area
-[X] [Secondary Action] Talk with the local squires, exchange letters with our friends in the other parts of the country
-[X] [Chancellery] "To Smite the Wicked"
-[X] Training and Zeal (60 Training, 126 Zeal)
–[X] Spend 27 Training on Mastering GKB
    –[X] Spend 8 Training on Hordebreaker Rank 3 -> 4
    –[X] Spend 8 Training on Ground Shape Rank 3 -> 4
–[X] Spend 6 Training on Refining Blinding Beam
–[X] Spend 6 Training on Refining Bouncing Leap
–[X] Spend 5 Training on Superlative Counter Finale from Not Existing -> Rough (2/6)
–[X] Spend 114 Zeal on Decade advancement, 0 Beads (60/74) -> 10 Beads/4th Decade. USE THE BOX! 12 Zeal Remaining
    [X] Plan: MORE DAMAGE
-[X] [Focus Action] Ask Reinald about Hordebreaker Finale's and other rote's and meditations Audrey should get, also if he can look into sorting out a way we can test fire the Clever Deflection + GKB counter finale we are working on this turn so that we can get it to Refined, preferably the turn after the tourney as we have some plans for our current Zeal up until the tourney.

The character sheet has been updated, no spoilers on things you still have to open (like the Box) or pick (like an Armour Trait), but the stuff purchased with Training and Zeal is on the sheet. This does include new Combat Abilities for Crowley and Bradamante, whose Combat Abilities have also been reorganized slightly for ease of use.

Knight of Wessex Character Sheet 3/26 -> 3/27 [4th decade, before BOX and choices] - [QUOTE="Alectai, post: 32466025, member: 391"] Audrey Eotenslaga of Charmouth Fortitude: (155/155) |

Diffchecker time!

@DeadmanwalkingXI minor typo, armour charges went to 3/3, but still says Twice per year, instead of Thrice per year. Or even for future proofing something like "Regenerates each year, each charge lets Audrey spend Zeal..."

Y'all starting to see why 4th Decade is the major threshold to be called a Knight?

You were pretty beefy compared to those who weren't before, now you're virtually untouchable unless they burn hard to compensate.

-"To Smite the Wicked": Raised Severance to level 2
So we have completed Smite, that's good.
Superlative Counter (19 Zeal at 4th Decade): This Finale can only be used in response to another Finale or similar level of effect, in which case, unless overpowered, it defends and counters perfectly that other Finale in a moment of perfect synchronization and superhuman battle prowess, leaving the opponent who dared to attempt such a thing defeated and usually slain outright. Or, at least, that's what it's supposed to do once it's ready to use. (2/6 Refined)
The Finale is 19 Zeal. We'll have 127 Zeal next turn; If we go for Combat 7 and Refining the Finale we'd be left with 36 Zeal. Insight might be good to raise since with a lot of Norsemen at the tourney we'll be seeing a lot of weird shit, and Admin's our only skill at 2 and really cheap, so both of those would leave us at 24. That seems enough for the tourney, while also letting us actually use our Counter if something goes horribly wrong.

Like the reorganization of the companion pages!

Also damn Crowley nice ability. We're are going to a walking(or running) natural disaster that can't be stopped, slowed, or stunned. Ranged things were a concern but after that... Obscuring most for people outside and in with whipping winds and a bog. Jesus we are an unstoppable gorilla.

*Mystery Box Unlocked*
*Flawless Marble now available for your Temple*
Audrey: This is fantastic! My Temple shall grow ever more solid-
*Flawless Marble takes up 4 Stone Slots. Will you unequip Bargate Ironstone?*
Audrey: ...
Crowley: Audrey, it's from the King himself-
Audrey: I know! It's just... I paid good money for that Ironstone, and now I'm either going to have to sell it or wait forever to advance enough to re-equip it. Just... just give me a minute.

Clearly we just need to reach the seventh decade in record time, possibly by orders of magnitude. I'm sure Audrey's up to the task!

230 damage GKB. If that had hit Audrey before this turn that's a stance break even with full defenses- to call it insanely lethal is a huge understatement. I'm terrified and curious of what a perfected GKB looks like given this thing can technically chip our Focus through max Hama and Armor as is.

Funnily enough, while the damage improves, it's not to the same level.

It's that it gains a new functionality that can let it do some truly jaw-dropping amounts of damage.

As things stand though, you begin to see why most people reflexively shit themselves when they see the Devil Lightning being emitted, they're thinking of Master level Giant-Killing Blow.

yeah, our family has to spend like half their lifespan getting GKB to Mastered and we can just do it at a training cost lmao.

It's not quite that bad, Thanes can get stuff to Mastered, it's just usually not necessary on GKB specifically outside major wars because even Refined GKB hits so hard.

Do we get a new trait for our armor this turn?

You will, yeah. It'll be voted on what that is.

I cant wait to see how hard their asses explode once people start getting hit by "invisible gkbs"

It could be a regular attack, or i could be dead or it could be a....

Once people know that Audrey can pull master+ level GKBs with no visible wind-up, we might not need a Light technique in order to get people to focus on her, lol.

Jokes aside, while you can add to your Temple, you can't remove things from its Foundations, and high quality materials usually cost less slots anyway.

...Oh dear. I mean, I understand the reasoning behind it, but that means that it is almost a statistical certainty that once upon a time some errant and foolish Squire tried to secure a material without getting it properly appraised and ended up permanently incorporating Crappy Copper into their Temple.

They did, yes. It's a Decoration rather than part of the Foundation, so you can remove it. Albeit with significant difficulty.

sounds powerfull an eternal wisdom buff.

It does provide a bonus to avoiding getting scammed, actually. Not actually worth slotting, but it doesn't do nothing.

Reinauld will cover your first activation of Superlative Counter as part of your training, so you don't need to budget for that.
Please thank Reinald so fucking much. Also, do you mind ignoring the following text from the plan, as I would have removed it from the plan if I'd known that. Also, does it eat a Secondary Action to test fire? I've been assuming so, but does it actually do so?
preferably the turn after the tourney as we have some plans for our current Zeal up until the tourney.
