Hey, you're the one who wanted thematically coherent plans instead of things we think would be cool individually, and the theme du jour is responsibility.

But I really hate this, so

[X] Plan: Let's Join A Gang
-[X] Friendship is Experimental Magitech Weaponry: Firelights
-[X] Friendship is Experimental Magitech Weaponry: Mages
-[X] Magic Flow Regulator
-[X] Shimmer Research
-[X] Seraphine's Zaun Concerts
-[X] Undermine Silco's Monopoly: The Fun Way—And Drag Caitlyn Along

[X] Plan: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
-[X] Fishbones
-[X] Magic Flow Regulator
-[X] Ventilation System Improvements
-[X] A Visit To High Silvermere
-[X] Seraphine's Zaun Concerts
-[X] Undermine Silco's Monopoly: The Fun Way—And Drag Caitlyn Along

I'd call both of those some pretty fun thematic plans, so I'd say you're doing good.

What's wrong with the take? Silco has very clearly shown his stance that the only way things change is through violence.
So, naturally, we must commit to unconditional nonviolence. Because Silco said we shouldn't do that.

We're playing Jinx, dude. We're gonna "prove Silco right" during regular gameplay, if not the timeskip.

[X] Plan Meaningful Changes to Life in Jinx's Home : Grenades

[X] Plan Meaningful Changes to Life in Jinx's Home : Pow-Pow

With the realistic choice being between these and [] Plan: Friendship is Political Business, I gotta say, I can't abandon Shimmer Research. Vi is totally fucked up on chem tech and I'm down to pursue any avenues for de-tankifying her (though I don't actually know if that's an option. I haven't read all the discussion)

Magic Regulator + Mage Law Reform is kind of take it or leave for me. Yeah, the persecution of a class of people should come to an end and I'm concerned about our friend Seraphine being able to live a normal life, but it seems less immediately beneficial in the fight for control over the future of our home.

I think I would have preferred to gear up the Firelights and prepared for war. (Edited) I don't think escalating paramilitary violence is actually a good solution, but I am concerned that it will become the only solution, given Silco's record and ideology, but maybe we can forestall that with magitech and market based answers. Either way, I wasn't part of the discussion til now, so I've ceded to existing inertia.

When have we fought outside of self defense since we've rolled with the Kirramans?

We built one weapon, socials and didn't vigilante. We didn't build weapons early and instead talked to friends. We didn't kill Silveka and gave her over to Benzo. Even that whole fight was to protect who she cared about.

This isn't canon Jinx and using her as a justification doesn't work.

So as is we're moving away from using violence as a tool for change and have only used it in the protection of herself and those she cares about. Jinx choose to be more Vander then Silco.

When have we fought outside of self defense since we've rolled with the Kirramans?
Four updates ago, when we decided to shoot a guy instead of talking to him.

Six updates ago, punching the sheriff.

Ten updates ago, shooting Lux (grey area).

And, yes, Sevika. There was a "sneak around and try to avoid a fight" option and we sure didn't take it.

You say "we built one weapon" as if the fact that we're literally not allowed to build zero weapons doesn't say anything about our character.

And "outside of self defense," do you think Silco doesn't have a whole essay ready about how using violence to end Piltover's violent occupation of Zaun is self defense?

If it was choose 7, the leading vote would probably have just added ventilation.
This sounds like visiting Lux will improve the magic flow regulator.
Actually Silvermere would be my 7th choice because it does have synergies. Unfortunately, inspite of those Synergies, understanding shimmer is a big part of my undermine Silco trio and mage law is important for strong mage rights, like say, protection from being extradited to foreign countries do to former citizenship. It really is a case of conflicting gains.

We may fix things with food but that just puts him back to where he was before the deal. People still have the smog to remind them of the separation and no counter message to Silco's propaganda.
With shimmer in addition to hydroponics and Kiramman way, we can undercut his drug trade potentially with treatments and other things, as well as possibly crack the super human aspects. Overall Zaun is much better off. There is a potential to end up with an advantage.

There is going to be violence, it'll just be more, spontaneous. That worked rather well last time. Well, until Chemtech got involved.

We can go further:

[X] Plan "Let's Just Shoot Silco and Call it a Day"
- [X] Pow-Pow
- [X] Grenades: Lots and Lots of Grenades
- [X] Fishbones
- [X] Friendship is Experimental Magitech Weaponry: Firelights
- [X] Shimmer Research
- [X] Undermine Silco's Monopoly: The Fun Way—And Drag Caitlyn Along

[X]Plan: Friendship is Political Business

Like, even if you think opposing Silco Violently is what we should aim for(which is a fair arguement) this is not the place. Both the firelight and piracy ways will just cause destruction of food, lowering supply and increasing prices. The very things we wanted to avoid by taking the deal
Sure, we want to just take the food and redistribute it, but its rarely so easy. Piracy will destroy some ships and probably hit food too on the short term, and on the long will increase prices due to increased risk.
In the firelight option, we get into conflict over warehouses. Some food is bound to be destroyed, infrastructure will require more protection and secrecy, and this isnt good. Plus in this case, Silco can easily pin this on the firelights.

The Kiramman way on the other hand doesnt do that. Instead it increases the amount of food available, helps get some pilties into Zaun, develops connections and infrastructure that will be really good to have, and creates a direct alternative to Silco in people's minds

Its not about comitting to non violence, its simply the best way to establish our goals here

[X] Plan Meaningful Changes to Life in Jinx's Home : Pow-Pow

either of these is fine, I just really wan to do mage law.

Caught up during the time skip huh. Neat.

While doing pirate stuff and firelight rebel stuff is cooler, I unfortunately have to go Kiramman way. Weapon wise I prefer Pow-Pow but grenades are fine as well since both can cause immense property damage, especially to let's say hypothetically one Sheriffs house (When his daughter is not there).

I'm kinda against Silvermere here, we can visit Lux whenever and it seems like there's more important stuff than romancing her here when we have limited time. I'd rather Zaun concert as that could help popularize Jimx more and bring Piltover and Zaun closer. And help our bestie.

Plus we need to romance Lux at the same time we Romance Ekko for the peak poly relationship. This isn't a joke I unironically vibe with Lux x Jinx x Ekko for some reason idk their interactions in this quest just work really well. And hey we need to one up Caitlyn by sneaking a boy and a girl over in the middle of the night.

Huh. If we take shimmer research, what do you wager Jinx tries to use it to make herself taller than Ekko? "He cheated first, I just cheated smarter." 😈

Hey @Chengar Qordath is Quest!Jinx physically bigger than canon!jinx because of their different trajectories in life ?

By the time she's full grown I'd say she's a bit less skinny and maybe couple of centimeters taller thanks to that better Piltover diet and slightly less of a tendency to go into work frenzies and ignore food. Though I'm sure the Kirammans have had to remind her repeatedly to take food and sleep breaks when she's In The Zone on the project. I'd also imagine she's a bit less pale since she gets more exposure to sunlight than she would growing in Zaun.

Ten updates ago, shooting Lux (grey area).
To protect a friends secret.

And, yes, Sevika. There was a "sneak around and try to avoid a fight" option and we sure didn't take it.
To save the old man not just Ekko.

This might be the only case you have right with context.

Shes studying Shimmer right now, not making a cure. So even if she could after this action it'd be taken during regular turns and distributed. What's more likely is we figure out the components and tell the firelights where to strike.

My point is whatever actions we can build off of this will probably be taken after the time skip not during.

And "outside of self defense," do you think Silco doesn't have a whole essay ready about how using violence to end Piltover's violent occupation of Zaun is self defense?
Maybe but it rings hollow when he victimizes his own people and things are getting better to the point his plans are unnecessary. Jinx has after this vote fixed two major Zaun issues in what 8 years? Give her another four and she'll deal with the air. At that point it shows that there was a non violent approach and undermines his point.

Of course the average Zaunite probably doesn't know who's behind these changes.

Edit: Your also forgetting one major point I was making. As a tool of change did she use violence?

All those instances you've pointed out were on a small scale. We had the choice to go vigilante instead of improving things as a way to get back at Silco and yet we chose to create to change things.

[X] Plan: Undermining Silco

Sigh we can't join the band any more, I want to help Seraphine Concerts.

[X] Plan Meaningful Changes to Life in Jinx's Home : Grenades

Second time's the charm for our allies using our grenades, she had learn her lesson from what happened back then.
Not to mention Seraphine might need grenades just in case.

I really don't like that the two top most plan neither go for a Demacia vacation or Zaun concerts. That's so disappointing.
