Howlande: Well, Gilbert and I had a productive trip on our first Patrol, nothing we couldn't handle together. Pity that Audrey was stuck on back-up duty the whole time, but perhaps the Knights felt that the rest of us needed the chance to sharpen our edges to try and catch up to her.

I added a note to the benchmarks that Knights are expected to have at least one Finale at Refined. For the record, more than two would be a bit surplus to requirements for most beginning Knights.
 
Hmm. The training the counter finale being super difficult and requiring trustworthy people make me think we ought to try and focus our training on that while we have reinald. Most of our training can be done solo, but thats the only tech we have i think that requires other people. And not just others but someonr we can trust to throw a finale at us without trying to actually kill us.

Yeah, QMs mentioned that a bit ago so I'm asking Reinald to sort out someone to test fire against. He apparently can go find a friendly enough Norseman (because they don't pay permanent stuff to use a Finale, it regens in a couple of hours), pay him some money and swear him to secrecy, then he throws his Finale at us in a safe (as you can get at this level of firepower) scenario, we use the Counter-Finale, and that lets us get it to Refined. After that, we get the uses under our belt to get to Mastered and Perfect from using it in live combat. Currently I have the test fire slotted in for the turn after the tourney where we can be a bit more carefree with our Zeal spending, but if Reinald says we're doing it next turn I guess we're doing it next turn. Once we have it at Refined and it's combat viable, we get the uses in live combat (I don't think its decided yet, but maybe 3 uses to get to Mastered and 9 more to get to Perfect fits the numerology) and then we can spend the Training points once we have enough uses to get to the next breakpoint.

I'm guessing that all is known is something happened in the fort.

Hard to miss the damage caused by a bunch of Kong Thanes going nova, especially with the amount of scrying that must be thrown around Alfred, even if the area around him can't be scryed.

The Dragon being slain will get figured out fairly quickly. Details of its hoard, however, may be slower to be revealed. Which is nice for Wessex.
 
Hey friends. You may have noticed me posting in this thread again.
Unfortunately, I'm not as deeply invested as I was at the start. That means I don't have the ability to bypass my depression with deep interest to keep the Prayer/Feat repository updated.

So hereby it is officially discontinued as an updated feature. If anyone would like to take over that function I give full permission to just copy what I've got in my informational post.
