STAR WARS: The Galactic Civil War

[X] Plan Opening Moves
I'm voting for this to get the big stuff out of the way.

[X]Plan: Information and War
But I also want to make sure Jar Jar has a competent guard around him, just so they can help out when Shenianigans happen.

Edit:
[X] Plan Logistics And Intelligence
[X] Getting our house in order
[X]Plan: Initial Mobilization

Also voting for Plan Logistics And Intelligence by @sun tzu and Getting our house in order by @fireknight.
For the same reason as information and War.
Voting for Plan: Initial Mobilization by @ReluctntCrusader, too.
...
God, I really am just voting for every plan again, aren't I?
Y'all make too good plans, and my indecisive peanut-brain ain't enough to figure out which is better than the other in the long-term, currently.

[X] Plan Logistics And Intelligence
-[X]My Loyalty is to the Republic: You need to assuage the People of the Republic. They do not think a Military Man is capable of leading the republic. They do not trust you. DC: ???
-[X]A War Budget: Jensen needs to lead the Government and ask simple questions. What can we spend, what can we tax, and what can we burrow? DC: 0/???
-[X]War Production: You need to know what the Shipyards of Corellia, and Kuat need to get their systems up to full capacity. DC: ???
-[X]Securing Chancellor Binks: The Chancellor is retired to Naboo, but his guard is only the volunteers who did not join the war effort, and the Gungan security team given to him by the Bosses. That is inefficient. DC: 30
-[X]Investigating Sidius: This was Isards pet project before he left. Ask Padme to keep digging. Who knows what she will find? DC: ???
-[X]Securing the Homefront: With Isard Gone, his measures might have laxed with the oncoming Minister of Intelligence. You are going to ask Padme to update them and find a way to keep them at their best. DC: 40
-[X]Troop VIsit: You will visit the troops. It's the least they can do. DC: 30.
-[X]The War: You Need to focus on the War. (Begin a War Turn)

That's a part of the plan votes, innit?

It is, indeed, a part of the already existing Vote Plans

[X] Plan Opening Moves

[X]Plan Logistics And Intelligence

[X] Plan: Information and War

Edit: including this one and the additional ones

[X]Getting our house in order

These plans are good for me to vote as they fit for what I would want in my requirements to choose to vote for.

-[X]A Machine with a Heart: Pax is… simple. He merely wishes to exercise his power to get you what you need. And also what he needs is a wish to make simple things happen. He wants your trust with that. DC: 45
-[X]Jedi Commanders: There are some Jedi commanders and many more who wish to join the war effort. You need to sort this out before Rham Kota decides that he wants to lead an army, rather than just a regiment and the Jedi try to help him with that. DC: ???

My plan I made earlier

[X] Plan Opening Moves
This plan isn't bad I just would rather we also secure Jar-Jar.

- [x] Calling up the Militias and Volunteers: While the Grand Army of the Republic has been and will be the main instrument for waging this war, their numbers can be… augmented. Chancellor Binks's first law allowed a galactic militia to be formed, with planetary defense fleets and organized militias. Perhaps you can form another army. DC: 30/60/???
- [x] The Judicals and the Masters: Since the War began, the Judicials have existed in an interesting limbo, where they are both part of the army and civilian law enforcement. You need to figure out what exactly they are going to be. DC: 50.
- [x] Securing the Homefront: With Isard Gone, his measures might have laxed with the oncoming Minister of Intelligence. You are going to ask Padme to update them and find a way to keep them at their best. DC: 40

I'm also wondering about respective logistics of the two sides. Are we in a war where the industrial outputs are roughly equal, or where one can, given enough time, drown the other in military hardware? Is one side in bad need of a quick victory because it cannot win a war of attrition? (See also: American Civil War, World War Two).
The Sepretists have the early advantage in terms of material, men (droids), money, and will to fight.

They have been planning this war for over a decade thanks to Papa Palps pulling the strings and otherwise doing sith things.

However, thanks to numerous actions in the previous quest, like Jar Jar giving droids rights... our outright massive armaments buildup over the last 8 years, along with Bails miricle at the end of the last turn before Attack of the Clones.

Well honestly... the Republic is the sleeping giant that they should not have decided to fuck with.

And now they have, and the Republic will unleash its terrible rage.

Basically, this war is in the REpublics favor, as long as we aren't fumbling the bag.

Which you easily can.
Yeah. While a bit of a late reply. There is a reason that the original plan Palps had was to transform the republic itself into the empire he wanted. And when that fell through, he was amassing as much war material and droids as possible to blitz through the Republic defenses. Which also didn't quite work when Jar Jar started a droid revolt through droid rights legislation. While the Rim using droids mean population is less of an issue, the Core has the raw population to make the refusal to use droid manufacture or cloning irrelevant, and far more industry.

Incidentally, we can bet Palps will be digging around for any advantages he can get, including interfering with our mobilization.

I was re-reading the prequel when I noticed that we have no way of federalizing militias. The law that founded the militia program explicitly stated that militias could only act within their sector. Basically, we have a pool of manpower with military training that we simply can't use.

Then, let's change that law. Add a clause where in times of war or rebellion, the galactic government can federalize sector and local militas to supplement federal forces. The US has something similar in how National Guard units can be federalized in times of war or major disturbances.
