I think it is fair as there are bound to be questers from the previous quest to come to this one and would want to participate in the voting, after all there are some that won't be available today and would only need to be available for the next day or two.

I just hope one vote that is about the Shield of the Republic character wins.
That one is immensely helpful in dealing a galaxy at war, especially the unique military options and the ability to roll a dice to not lose moral after defeats is even better.

Tarkin is an excellent officer and no longer a threat to democracy. But I fear his excessive militarism may complicate peace efforts and make Reconstruction a painful quagmire.

First there need to be a Republic for that.
While I prefer the OC of the Guardian of the Republic to win, Tarkin at least knows how to wage war and such.
Look the truth is we will never be able to fix the galaxy problems and never will, it is a tale of nations, it continue on forever until the end of times.
Do the best you can hope history be kind to you.
The Republic will fall one day, suhc as the fate of all nations, but we just need to make sure it will not be today.

I'm very much an optimist and I try to plan ahead. Jar Jar has given us a massive advantage over the OTL Republic in this war. I think the idea that only a military officer is fit to rule during a time of war is dangerous. It erodes civilian rule and increases the chances of a junta coming into power. I also strongly believe in the ability for people to rise to an occasion.
