So! Lore of the Apocalypse, aka Revelation, aka Dhar-Azyr, aka Dark Heavens, aka Fate Denial.

I'm going to do some random brainstorming, because I can, nah-ne-nah-nah. Feel free to add or dislike as you wish.

The Lore's main wind is Azyr, Winds of Haven and fate, with a lot of dhar backing it up. Probably some Shyish, because it's necromancy adjacent, and maybe some Ulgu, because we all have Misty Madam brain rot and the uncertainty element.

The Lore probably has a basing in Nehekharan magic, because instead of any Elf tradtion, because Princess Aelsabrim will likely have a limited education in such. There will likely be influence from necromancy, both the Vampire version and Luthor's Lore of the Deeps, which by-the-by I want to go into quest-wise.

The main theme of the Lore is "rejection of fate", either what has already occurred or will occur. Because Azyr, this will likely come with some weather aesthetics.

Spells might primarily be buffs or debuffs. For example, if we're using Total War Warhammer 3 style, a buff spell could apply "Cannot Die", which makes it so units (funnily enough) can't die. A debuff could prevent healing.

A fun damage type spell could be (hear me out) a reverse lightning bolt. Just, an explosion of lighting from below exploding up into the sky.

Apparently the various people of Awakening are fools, at least as far as money is concerned. Ships can be sold or ransomed just as well as any other loot. And it is a rare cargo that is more valuable than an ocean-crossing ship.

Money famously doesn't stink and one bolt of cloth or sack of peppercorns is pretty much indistinguishable from all the others, but a ship is extremely identifiable. Even if a given port has nobody that knows the ship itself, there'll be dozens of people that could take one look and tell you where it was built. Sartosans might be able to figure out a way to launder them, but the Vampire Coast is too associated with necromancy, Vampires, and Stromfels for anyone to want to put their name to new sets of paperwork for ships taken by them.

Wonder if the style is the same for the charioteers of Chrace, Lothern and Tiranoc as it is for Nehekhara.

It would have to be. Loose and flowing doesn't combine well with spinning wheels.

Look, we voted for this guy for a reason, might as well go all in.

While true it should be noted that these ships don't self-report as captured by pirates. If a ship sets sail from Marienburg and arrives at Swamp Town months later no one will be able to tell if it visited Awakening on the way. Voluntarily or otherwise.

Plus I really doubt the people of Clar Karond or Uzkulak care where ships come from.

Trousers would seem to be in order then.
…although thinking on it the only Asur I can recall who didn't have some form of dress or skirt are the shadow warriors. Odd that.

The owners of that ship, or the guildmates of the owner if they captained it themselves, would notice that the ship in question is acting like it belongs to someone else now.

Druchii and Chaos Dwarves don't tend to go to sea in human-made ships.

No. The best time to offer her necromancy was when she held her husband's corpse in her arms. The second best time is now. Waiting will give her grief time to fade, her heart time to heal, and her husband's spirit time to move on into whatever afterlife awaits him. Trying to take advantage of all of that will be harder and will have lesser results than doing so right now.

Well that settles it then.

We are the best uncah for troubled princesses and shall help mold another great and wonderful image. Besides, if the husband happened to be heading for Ereth Khial or Khaine or whatever we'd be genuinely doing him a favor, a rarity in our line of work.

Immediately going with grief doesn't seem the most in character at this point.
Doesn't it?

Pahtsekhen might be wearing a happy smile, but he has wandered this Earth for a long time. He has had many students in this time, and most of them are no longer here. Of his named students even, only two are still around, the rest bit the dust.

Losing the ones you love is something Pahtsekhen is very experienced with, he has just learned to carry that burden better than most. He can relate, if we want him to.

While Grief calls out to me, that is a door best opened after we'e established a profesional connection. Also the knowledge of a vampire museum being 'sponsored' by High Elves wthout their knowledge is really funny to me.

Edit: Updated my vote.
