[X]The Senate Chamber: You think that if you can get the signal going, you can get the army unit that is stationed nearby for help. Sure a call for help on public broadcast seems rather foolish, but the security system cuts off all outgoing communication… except for ironically, the ones that broadcasted the senate hall.

If the Senate Guard is this thoroughly compromised, the obvious methods of egress are right out. Also, we don't know who else the assassins are gunning for and who among them will manage to escape or not. We have two Jedi Knights as bodyguards, time to pull aggro.

Time for Big Bombad to show off live on television his CQC skills......or die horribly on live television to the biggest audience ever, either way Jar Jar will make history!

[X]The Senate offices: The Senate offices have some old elevators that can get to the lower levels. They are quick, but you don't know if they can carry everyone.

I just had this image of chancellor Jar Jar fighting off assassins on live feed using a blaster and two Jedi.
It would be so badass. :)

Vos: why are you running to the kitchens!
Jar: The Force is telling me to get a ham!
Vos: What in the Force is a ham?
Jar Jar: What...It's food an we'll need if after this one!

A Bombad Chancellor doesn't pass on free propaganda!

Also the elevator seems equally bombable to the hanger if this was an inside job.

Your average politician will run when assassins are after them. By that logic... :V

Well this is a competition in the voting blocks

Senator offices: super secret escape route where we can easily use to escape the Senate building and try to blend in with the populace.

The senate chambers: go loud and bold with unpredictability on our side in waiting out a siege against the assassin forces.
