Earth Bet: House of the Sun (Cultist Simulator/Worm)

We already do owe Master a favor, so let's not get into debt further.

I'm for either dealing with this immediately to catch her off guard (high risk, high reward) or setting a trap and then letting PRT deal with this.

I would actually prefer to keep her alive until we are sure we don't need her to form a Dyad
[X] Track her down, finish this
Though even if she deserves a place in the Dyad, she has to prove it.

Us owing the Master a favor was taken as a drawback. And a drawback it remains.

That is so far away I wouldn't worry about that. If we do go ahead on finishing this and winning, then we should probably use her as sacrifice. I'm sure Master has few more advanced tricks to teach us.

Genuinely, what is the downside to this?

I see none short-term or long-term, but it's just leaving a sour taste in my mouth to take and take. Law of equivalent exchange and all that.

[X] You'll let your Master handle it

I do love gifts so much, and how could we resist, when it's such a great master whom is going to offer us it.

That aside, i do really like the implications and such behind the master giving us a gift, and such. Seems like the most interesting options of the bunch to me

So our Enemy must be dealt with, let's take a look at the options.

[] Track her down, finish this
Good, ideal even. We are low on Edge at the moment but we have quite a few martial bonuses.

[] Plant bait, prepare a sting
Risky, but could work.

[] Sit back, set a trap
Also, good. Could be more dangerous than the rest since she gets the initiative here.

[] Hands off, just watch
Too passive for my tastes and also not a good idea to leave an Enemy alive to plan even if with surveillance.

[] You'll let your Master handle it
Nope. We already owe the Master and we should not get in even more debt with a Wolf Name.

Knowing everything the best choice for me is:

[X] Track her down, finish this

Sure, we will be giving back to her at some point.

But with this Master, I can't imagine us really wanting to decline her requests anyways!

Having to do it for a favour, or choosing to do it because otherwise is UNWISE, seems like we should just take the gift and sacrifice that future agency that we're unlikely to exercise anyways.

This woman positively reeks of The Lionsmith, or at least his archetype. The Lionsmith is one who Rebels, who grows ever stronger.

She's a problem now, and will become ever more so, especially since we are very much a public figure, especially since we just orchestrated a highly visible crackdown on a criminal gang. People will talk about that, oh how they will talk, and that ex-gang lord will make a perfect accomplice for our Foe.

If we give her the time to seek him.

Guys, something tells me this Master is kind of immune to Regrettable Actions. That is, if they even exist at all. :V
So, another link to the chain the has around our neck? Yes please. I love her character and would like to see more of her.

I feel people are being a little cocky here!

This is our Foe, someone who has been after us for years. It seems bold to assume she's not going to have some sort of preparation for us, that' a simple fight will undoubtedly go our way.

If it's the Master doing it, sure, we can be assured. And get a gift too!

But our own hands could falter. I don't think we should be so assured about a fight.

I hate the idea of the Master doing this and us owing her more, but I honestly can't think of the Wolf as anything but useful against the Entities. I hate that we'll owe her, but I honestly can't imagine how bad it'll end up with this old enemy.

I'd rather we handle this. I'd rather we catch her and lock her up or kill her. But as a last resort, I'd rather The Master handle her so she isn't a problem for us anymore.

Well, yes, the Wolf is useful against the Entities. It is useful against anything, that's his thing: he doesn't create, he doesn't help, he doesn't fix. He is never "for", and always "against". Wolf unmaketh.
The best we could hope is for him to unmake the Entities before he unmakes us.

I was already going for doing this without Master's interference, you don't need to sell me more on it!
