[X] Kiss Sola

honestly it just sounds like a catharsis they both need, and if they end up changing the dynamic to expressing that every now and again in a liminal space in between friends and girlfriends, that doesn't seem too unhealthy to me

I don't see any narrative indication that it's going to end badly, tbh?

Beyond that, there are many secrets surrounding Maia's family that Sola is not privy to, and binding herself so tightly to a member of the Great Houses will complicate Maia's loyalties in the future even more than they already have. Her family's expectations for how Iselsi Maia should make use of such ties are darker than even you imagine.
Most of the damage is already done by inviting her into the hearth, but getting romantically involved will escalate the emotional fallout
