okay, we have a pretty neat combat suite already, with Faulty Ground into Giant Killing Blow being a hefty combo, presently capable of killing a peer opponent in 2 rounds if everything goes well, and simply perish if anything goes wrong in that sequence.
for less all in attacks we have Faulty Ground into Limb Breaking Hold, which deals vastly less damage but disables one limb at a time, and it has the added benefit of us actually being able to pull off two rounds of this combo and activate the prayer for perserverence before we start taking stamina penalties.
our lowest commitment attacks are either spamming Faulty ground(which would take forever to kill someone, but is an option if we want a low commitment attack against armored or giant foes), or using Darting Strike and doing a zenitsu impression.
barring outside factors a solid routine that we can keep up forever is one low commitment attack and one clever deflection, but this is probably too little investment to stand up to a peer opponent.
Clever Deflection is our only defensive trick, but it synergizes with giant killing blow by creating an opening for us.
it's super interesting that Ground Shape has a free trick. Maybe other shapes have their own cost free trick. It makes me really want to try training some of them. a free trick isn't as huge for a christian because fervor regenerates fast anyway, but a passive benefit that doesn't hurt our Fervor economy is welcome.
for a combat stance I think we go
1 prayer for perserverence
2 darting strike
3 clever deflection
4 Perfect Footing
5 Faulty Ground
6 Giant killing blow/limb breaking hold depending on foe.
