Good, we're already got a Heroic Foil.

I'm surprised the info on Miraculite was so easily found. Surely, someone would have noticed the suspiciously specific denial?

I like the name Catastrophites. A catastrophe feels like a natural opposite to a miracle.

Yochimichi was definitely up to something during those 10 years, but it's hard to tell what.
 
Speculation: Mi-chan has the Indoctrination Background, our sister is alive with the Amnesiac background, and Fukumoto is rocking a neatly balanced Cruelty/Wrath build.

    Triple question marks was Fate, Love was bleeped out instead.
     
    The ??? is the same color as Fate's voice, so I suspect that it's the Catastrophic Corruption.
     
    Which is why I intend to vote to avoid the question marks. I'd rather just have our own faction from the get go. Maybe we can even lure a general away from Fate.
     
    The purple question marks are Fate's gift to you, yes. They're question marks because Kaworu doesn't know what that branch of magic does yet. It has nothing to do with the hidden options back in character creation.

    Are the consequences for learning the magic, or ignoring it, outside of just having the spells or not?
     
    Been reading this offline recently, really loving it so far! I missed the vote, but I look forward to participating next time.

    • Well, since someone replied, I may as well give an update on how things are going. When I started this quest, I was working a relatively low stress part time job, giving me lots of time and focus to write. The only thing I had to deal with was a slimeball of a manager making a jackass of himself. Then that manager damn near broke my leg with carelessness and I basically quit on the spot. After that I was unemployed for a month, so lots of free time but also lots of stress. I finally got a job, which I'm working now, but it's full time and exhausts me everyday. But it's seasonal and pays quite well, so when I'm done here in a couple months, I'll have the time to write and a nice money cushion so no stress. Then I'll really have time to write again.

    TLDR: The quest is officially on hiatus until January, possibly longer. But given that my boyfriend thinks this is the best thing I've ever written, I'll definitely continue this sooner or later.

    Ahhh, that's very fair, and I've been in a similar boat myself before. Glad you plan to come back to this, but also glad you're taking care of yourself first. I hope things get better soon!
