-[X] What do you have Naruto do?: Naruto will send Shadow Clone scouts to scout terrain, get Naruto to have those Shadow Clones pre-planned to dispel after twenty minutes, then send in another group to scout the terrain after Naruto has reported the scouting information to the team (in this case, relaying the information to Yamato in good time, preferably under a minute), or send a group in a different direction to scout terrain. Naruto will also be on point at the front of the group. Tell Naruto that if he makes a better map than the one we've already got by the end of the mission Sensei will treat him to Ichiraku's. Middle.
-[X] What do you have Sasuke Do?: Have him practicing with a variety of henge's. If he gets bored of that have him practice chakra control in various annoying yet hilarious ways. He takes point.
-[X] What do you have Yakumo Do?: Practice genjutsu on the wildlife we come across. See if she can subvert them and have birds, squirrels etc do some spy work for her. Or just harass/flush out anyone else who's watching/following the team. Middle.
-[X] What do you do?: Henge into a similarly aged Genin as the kids. If someone attacks, boy have they got a surprise coming. Take the rear.

You took a breath as you and then realized that something was going to happen. So you would rather be prepared for everything that may occur. Except, there was going to be another briefing and you wanted to make sure.

"Kids circle up in cover, new plan." You said and you and the kids took cover in the brush and treeline. The natural elements cover the road where others may have. Of course, nothing was perfect, but there was an idea to make things better.

"Sensei, why are we hiding, we need to keep moving." Naruto questioned, though once he saw Sasuke sit down, he joined his teammate.

"Kids we are in hostile territory, and right now, we are in dangerous hostile territory. Which means we need to plan for our next move, to make sure we stay safe and sound." You then pulled out the map and threw it over to Naruto. "Naruto, can to make a shadow clone of that map, in addition to other clones?"

Naruto nodded and did make several clones… however the map was incomplete and poorly copied. "Um… kinda?"

You took a breath before Sasuke laughed. "Well, at least we know that when it comes to other stuff, Naruto isn't that good at it."

That gave you an idea. "Do you have some pencils?" You turned to Sasuke, who quickly pulled out a pen and a pencil from his backpack seal. "Good."

You turned to Naruto. "Do you know cartography Naruto?"

"What?" He asked. "Is that a food?"

That boy was going to be the death of you. "Do you know how to draw a map?"

Naruto nodded. "Um…"

You shook your head. "Do you have control over dispelling your clones on a regular basis?"

"Yeah!" He said, and Yakumo shook her head.

"Sensei, what's going on?" She asked.

"Can you remember the information from a dispelling clone?" You asked. Then Yakumo understood.

"Not really, everything gets all fuzzy when I try." He said. "And it really hurts my head."

You didn't want to hurt him, but something told you that he might be able to do it. He had the fox in him after all, and something told you he just needed the right motivation. "Naruto, I need you to be our scout. Send out a few teams of your clones in all directions except for the way we came, and have them stay hidden. Every twenty minutes, dispel one and relay information back to me." You then saw Naruto begin to smile. "That means you are going to be staying close to me Naruto to relay information, and if we succeed, ramen is on me when we get home."

You were going to tell him to try and make a map of the area, but that would have been mean. Looks like training was in order when you got home.

"Sasuke." You then took a moment to look at him. "You're going to be the point man.

Sasuke seemed to make a hn sound before he smiled. "However, you are going to be under Henge. Change rapidly to make it seem we are a larger caravan than we actually are."

Sasuke then raised an eyebrow. "That's kinda… wait why? It seems like a waste of time."

"We are in hostile territory, confusion and surprise are going to be our greatest weapon. I would have had Naruto do it, but his scouting will be far more important to prepare ourselves for any coming battle."

"Okay, but that would only work for bandits and civilian caravans… what about the Grass Ninja that may be watching us?"

"We're just going to have to change it for the time being. And besides, if you think it won't work, practice Chakra control or something." You said.

Sasuke seemed annoyed. "That seems rather… honestly that is not what I expected for my order."

"Unexpected, yes, but you are the medic and obviously one of the more important assets to the village. It would a shame to lose you to stupidity and youthful energy. We will have many battles together, don't let the first kill you."

Sasuke seemed to understand. "Okay."

"Yakumo, you and Hanzo start casting a genjutus around the area, what is your range for casting?" You asked.

Hanzo spoke. "One mile. It would be more, but Yakumo is still rather lacking in chakra."

You nodded. "Can you take over wildlife without losing your mind?"

Yamato spoke. "Yeah, but we might become sleepy. How many do you want me to see through?"

"Everything." You stated. "Is that possible?"

Yakumo nodded. "Yeah, that is… though you might want to stay close to me, in case I pass out."

You nodded. "I will."

You then made the sign for a Henge. And everyone was shocked to see a younger version of yourself.

"Um Sensei, why are you under Henge?" Naruto asked.

"Simple Naruto. A team of young genin is far less likely to be stopped than a team of genin and a jounin." You smiled. "I'll take up the rear. Make sure you three are safe. Now let's go, we're burning daylight."

Honestly, you should have expected Naruto to still be a little raw when it came to the practical applications of clones, and remembering things. He reported several things, but it seems that every time he did, the memories seemed impossible to tell. Some clones dispelled themselves by accident, and the memories got jumbbled up.

However, you were thankful that he only discovered that no one was really watching you, otherwise, you would be feeling a lot more dread.

Sasuke was probably getting close to the prestigious chakra control Itachi had because he was doing quite well with the henge. It seems he decided to do something creative and create entirely different people that he had never known or seen before, or going through the list of villagers and ninjas he interacted with.

You saw that he sometimes began talking to himself, as if they were that person, and apologizing to them for all he had been like. As if he was writing a will, or confessing everything that was wrong.

How he was like, and how he should have been better.

But it also filled you with dread that he felt like he was going to die without saying anything to those people.

This was going to be unfair for her.
