Lord of Order

[X] Plan Making Inroads
-[X] Seek out a champion. There are those among the mortals who realize the need for order. Seek one out to act as your agent, to go and do what dyus cannot. Recruiting them may prove challenging, especially without an artifact to tempt them and offer in exchange. DC60
--[X] Offer Sword of Jyggalag
-[X] Find allies. without the might you once had, you need allies so that you might not be blindsided. seek others out so you might make an alliance.
--[X] The One of the Eight-And-One. Talos is his name. He did not exist in the age when you were cursed to become Sheogorath, but it appears his cosmic position did, and the Hero of Kvatch seems to have earned his blessing as a mortal. Perhaps you two can likewise come to an accord.
---[X] Sheogorath's Assistance
-[X] Rebuild your library. Once your library rivaled that of Hermeus mora, you imagine it's the reason he played a part in your downfall. Now you would rebuild it. Gather what tomes you can find in oblivion, and begin the calculations of the future as you once had.

[X] Name your creation
-[X] Pawns of Order

[X] What is jyggalags response?
"You ask if I am going to betray the Falmer or spend them on harebrained schemes. Why would I? I have no such irrational compulsion. I healed them out of rational calculus - their strength is mine, and I shall not spend it carelessly. You ask me if I am going to invade Nirn - why would I, when its intrinsic design is already satisfactory?

The nature of a Daedric Prince defines both the goals and the means of a Daedric Prince. Mehrunes Dagon, Molag Bal, Namira, and Mephala never once sought to accomplish something that was not defined by their domains, and never once sought to accomplish those goals through means other than their domains. Conquest. Domination. Intrigue and betrayal.

Despicable little vultures.

I am Jyggalag, Lord of Order. It is not within me to blindly follow the base impulses like my lessers who pointlessly propagate chaos. It is not in my nature to oppose the order that has existed since the Dawn Era, or try to transform its inherent nature into something completely different. Within Nirn, this complicated arrangement of divine designs, me and mine will thrive by supporting the rational order of things. "

I wonder if getting a champion and providing the Sword of Jyggalag right after our priest got assassinated would be taken as a sign to go kick the Dark Brotherhood's ass

[X] Plan: Supporting Sheo
-[X] Seek out a champion. There are those among the mortals who realize the need for order. Seek one out to act as your agent, to go and do what dyus cannot. Recruiting them may prove challenging, especially without an artifact to tempt them and offer in exchange. DC60
--[X] Offer the sword of Jyggalag
-[X] diplomatic efforts: friends and allies can be difficult to keep, so better to maintain contact so that relations don't break down.
--[X] Sheogorath
-[X] The crystalline Host. With but 8 knights remaining in your service, you need more to serve you. while it takes a follower with a soul to create a true knight, you may be able to create something lesser that could still serve your purposes. DC70
--[X] Sheogorath's Assistance

We need to keep the agreement with Sheo at least mutual so he doesn't abandon or betray us. Plus he is still slowly melting down and if he goes crazy enough his mantle will make him our arch enemy. We are what 3 and a half years past the end of oblivion roughly speaking at this point? We have helped him towards becoming functionally crazy once so far.

We've been teaching Sheogorath how to be a Daedric Prince in every action we used him for until this latest one with him trying to restore our library. We taught him how to control his magics when we worked together to restore the Falmer and we wrote down all of his life stories in the turn right after.

Now I do agree with not using him on the library again since that's not something he likes, but that doesn't mean we aren't helping out on actions where he and Jyggalag work together.

Wait so we don't collect our followers' souls right now?
There's very few Daedric realms that serve as afterlives for their followers. The ash pit of malacath for example. Otherwise they would simply live within their princes realms ala the myriad realms of revelry or the shivering isles. some of the souls might go to you but there's not really a place for them within the realm yet.
Would a write-in to do something with the souls of our dead followers be allowed?
If it's something within jyggys power

Could an Obelisk or the Tree of Shades be used as the afterlife of our dead followers so they can be reborn as Knights or our Daedra subspecies?

Nope. Becoming a knight takes a willing sacrifice of a followers eternal soul to create so it can't be done passively, and it takes a lot of effort for a mortal to turn themselves into a daedra-like being so it also can't just be done passively either. Unless you have some major control over not just the souls but souls as a domain you can't force them to become something so different. In Time their souls will be reborn on nirn

I think in this case we could perhaps create something similar to Soul Gems to catch the souls of our followers. More comfortable than actual Soul Gems of course, but similar in principle. Maybe once we claim the domain of Crystals it would be easier to do?

kind of want Law/War to be a part of our domain's...they fit nicely to what we already have with order and wisdom...plus war isnt just about fighting, its also about logistics, how to maintain the supply lines, how to ensure the supply lines arent compromised, as well as how to attain proper foundations to keep on fighting.

while conquest and domination are parts of war, the truest aspect of it would give jaggy a leg up over the other guys as his ability for restrained conflict would allow him to properly leverage his advantages against theirs.

edited: also character sheet needs to be updated to add in our wisdom sub domain and the newest artifact...and the faith/power? also the grey prince negative modifier...

That I feel would be more "Planning" or "Strategy". War is something Jyggalag does, but so does every other Daedric Prince, so him specifically laying claim to that wouldn't be particularly fitting. Law is an easy fit of course.

Unrelated to this, @Pitlord just to be clear was my write-in for trying diplomacy with Talos acceptable? Since he's technically not in Oblivion.

No. You don't have access to atherius so unless your talking through a medium, like a chosen hero or priest or some form of relic, there's no real way for daedra and aedra to communicate
They're kinda not on great terms what with the multiple attempts to conquer nirn

Welp, time to edit the plan then. Was hoping the HoK being blessed by Talos whilst doing Pelinal's job would have helped.

Letting everyone know, my plan has been changed to this now. No more Talos diplo, instead we're grabbing Sotha Sil's giant puzzle realm.

The Clockwork City is noted to be affected by the protection of Akatosh against Daedra so I'm not sure if that's possible.
It's not as complete as it would be on Nirn I believe. Jyggalag could still manifest himself within it after all, and Sheogorath is bound to have some useful madmen to contribute to the expedition.

Also hopefully our Champion roll succeeds which would add some extra oomph.

    [X] What is jyggalags response?
-[X] You know little of me to think a comparison to my so-called "kind" would hold any value. I am Jyggalag, the Lord of Order, whose sphere is stability, logic, and deduction and whose dissimilarity from the other rulers of the Planes caused their powers to unite in opposition. Mundus is already a bastion of Order, leaving me little need to impose my will upon it save to push back the powers of the other Princes, and even if it were not, I am a god of my word. I swore to another that I would combat the Daedra's attempts to claim this world, and I swore it easily, for it is instead Oblivion that requires my discipline.

    [X] What is Jyggalyg's response?
-[X] I am not your average Daedra. I am Jyggalyg, Lord of Order. Jyggalyg the betrayed, Jyggalyg the twisted, Sheogorath the lunatic. And now? I am Jyggalyg the restored. I will not pretend to have felt mercy or compassion towards the Falmer, and yet I know intimately what they have gone through. I have remade myself, and now I have remade them. Order is what I seek, and to betray them would be antithetical to my goals. As twisted barbarians, they contributed nothing; restored, they can rebuild themselves into an ordered and lawful society. And worship me. I'll admit that I am quite enamored of that last bit.
