Desperate Struggle: Separatist Quest

And what about the Infiltrator/Demolition droids that grevious sent to corusant? Maybe we could use them to sabotage kamino and just wreck it in advance?
I'm thinking of smuggling some into Coruscant alongside a ton of detonator charges and targeting the Senate building for a blow to republic moral on the galactic scale. Just blow up a hundred or so stories at the bottom level to drop it down and have them and a support battalion of a few thousand droids storm the building to execute survivors. Might not get palps depending on whether or not he the fall and impact rattle his brain a bit, but if he's forced to go sith ahead of schedule in front of potential witnesses thats a win.

I have a more, extreme solution for Kamino. Just find a big hunk of space rock and drop it in there ocean. Let the super tsunami it causes topple there cities. A bit war crime ish, but effective.

Any operation like that would demand approval from Grievous, who would inform Dooku, who would inform Palps. Wouldn't work.

Lol. We need approval for operations that require outside support, like dooku or grievous backing us up or assigning someone else to back us up. The clone wars, emphasis on wars, are occuring on hundreds of thousands of planets across the galaxy. There isn't the kind of supervision your applying to what we do over the course of a given few months.

If we make or buy a thousand V2s and start paying smugglers to get them onto Coruscant alongside explosives, dooku isn't going to count the millions of droids we field in the mean time and ask where they are. We even have a viable excuse in not warning anyone of what we were going to do by saying if the other factions, the techno union specifically, learned and didn't attend the Senate, that would give away the plan.

Will we get in trouble for it? Probably. Will grievous or the trade federation let us be sidelined or particularly restricted, especially when it works as intended and republic morale and faith in the Jedi plummets across the galaxy? Not likely.

You do realize how big killing ALL the senators In th republic is, don't you? When you conduct big operations like that, you NEED to get approval from your higher ups when it could affect the entire course of the war. Unless you want to go behind their backs? Besides, why would our droid be concerned about Grievous or Dooku ratting us out to the Republic? That's entirely meta-knowledge. It's also very dependent on us being able to successfully infiltrate the Senate building without Sidious or Yoda sensing it through the force, or hell, us passing the checks with THOUSANDS of droids and tons of explosives.

Between us and grievous is the separatist council. Odds are they'd learn if we reported this.

Our job description is to take actions, be they military, black ops, research, or simply strategic analysis, that change the course of the war. The whole quest premise with our choice of warlord is being given a large fleet and army with free reign to just pick a planet and setup there or raid to our hearts content, or prevent raiding of a planet that's backed out of the war.

Sure, we are probably taking that to a bit of an extreme, but it's no different than going strait for mon Calamari after we take gorse, or putting the capital of naboo to torch and flying away. Trench or Ventress have done things just as crazy that you have to know they didn't have time to confirm with Separatist command.

We are a Warlord. Someone nominally under grievous, dooku, and the separatist council, but expected to be as self directing as trench or grievous.

hey @ErraticWizard could you put the winning votes within the chapters. Cause ngl it's fairly annoying having to go back pages to find out what won.

Like this for example at the top of a post.

I think that might be too aggressive and radical, while it might basically make the senate incapable of doing anything and potentially headcap sidious it can also hideously backfire on us the worst way possible. I'd honestly rather sabotage kamino since it's a valid military target and the public won't decide to draw and quarter us if we attack it. Corusant is just to big and important to attack it like this, better to do a lightning strike to capture sidious and detonate his in transit and blame it on pirates or the hutts or even the death watch.

Besides, we wouldn't even know who he really is.

The Clone Wars Begin!

I made you a STAR WARS intro sequence

Click below to watch my message…

With the onset of a war destined to shaped the lives and destinies of many... It it time for the Champions of the C.I.S. to stand up against tyranny. To rise above the treachery and corruption of their rivals. And to throw them down so that true freedom can be instated. You are a Weapon of War, a Machine of Logic, Domination, and oddly enough Personal Murder. It is time to get deployed in order to support the cause.

Choose A Mission...
Dooku Deployments- The Founding Father of the Confederacy, Effectively Absolute in Power both Politically and Militarily.

[] Hunting For Acolytes- Dooku had a number of force sensitive agents. To achieve ever greater results for liberty, he required more. You would be deployed in support of one to align them with your cause.

[] Securing Sites- Though his machinations are entirely unknown to you. Dooku has been the architect of this entire enterprise for liberty! Supply him with the force of arms to secure sites he deems valuable to the cause.

[] Execute an Ambush- Dooku is aware upon the location of an experimental clone units deployment. He wants you to be the scythe that reaps his tithe...

Grievous Deployments- The High General of the Confederacy, and Dookus Warrior Champion.

[] Push the Front- Bluntly put, Greivous has incredibly low standards and expectations for most Coporate Commanders. he wishes to add your skilled taskforce to a front in order to provide the extra push needed to let the numerous names lackies to rush in.

[] Augment a Commander- A particular Commander has been picked out to assign you to by Grievous. He fully believes your presence would dramatically smooth over this Operation.

[] Occupy Strategic World- Militarily relevant worlds are usually very different from *Dookus* Targets. These will be Fortresses, Production Centers, Vital Resources, and Ship Yards.

Executive Sepratist Council- In theory simply to represent the most affluent of the Sepratists. In practicality? The Corporate Powerblock is built here and headed by Dooku.

[] Eliminate Republic Corporate Holdings- The Corporate Sector greatly wishes to eliminate competition, and Appropriate private industry Secrets.

[] Protect Corporate Assets- Realizing that if they are sponsoring you to do this to them. Then reasonably, the Republic will Retaliate in kind. You will be Assigned to an asset to Reinforce it to secure relevancy.

[] Secure a Profitable Hyperlane- The Corporate Sector has a great immense interest in Securing Valued Trade Lanes. This would stimulate the War Economy well.

Separatist Senate Deployments- The Will of the People and Voice of the Cause. Decrying the Republic for its Corruption and Warmonger Response.

[] Protect Member States- The Senate is incredibly motivated to entrench and secure their Citizens. You will be deployed to ensure safehouses, fallout shelters, and defenses are constructed.

[] Aid a Liberation- The Cause will never end! Go forth and reinforce those who attempt to Reclaim their Freedom!

[] Shock Construction Efforts- The State has a truly immense list of projects that legions of Droid Laborers could vastly simplify. Though this adds little direct value to damaging the republic, it has fairly pronounced Impact upon the Chosen World.

Independent Operations- You are at the end of the day an Independent Operator. Your authority is not unlimited, but you should be able to dictate your own actions.

[] Choose a Fortress- Many a Warlord and even Most Indsutrialists have begun the erecting of personally controlled Worlds or Bases. Leading to an immense amount of buildup on the world they've claimed as their throne. (Triggers Secondary Vote)

[] Establish an Interest Group- You are very aware of your current deficiencies. The simplest way to fill the gap? To pay others to worry about these issues for you.
-mystic traditions experts
-military officers
-industrialist advisors
-political adjutants
-specialists (Triggers Secondary Vote)

[] Begin a Design Project (Triggers Secondary Vote)

Is Gorse considered a strategic world from Grievous' perspective? Or we'd better promote this as our own initiative within the Fortress World.

Will it be Tann?
Considering how stupidly she died, it would have been logical to prevent it... or is she already dead?

Grievous Deployments- The High General of the Confederacy, and Dookus Warrior Champion.

Both options are acceptable.

Executive Sepratist Council- In theory simply to represent the most affluent of the Sepratists. In practicality? The Corporate Powerblock is built here and headed by Dooku.

[X] Secure a Profitable Hyperlane- The Corporate Sector has a great immense interest in Securing Valued Trade Lanes. This would stimulate the War Economy well.

Supply is something you will ALWAYS have to deal with in war, and although it is a thankless and secondary job from someone else's point of view, it is something that can stop someone else's army and destroy it like nothing else. After all, fighting without ammunition is quite problematic, and the ability to break enemy blockades and get supplies to where they are needed is a skill we just need.

Separatist Senate Deployments- The Will of the People and Voice of the Cause. Decrying the Republic for its Corruption and Warmonger Response.

[X] Protect Member States- The Senate is incredibly motivated to entrench and secure their Citizens. You will be deployed to ensure safehouses, fallout shelters, and defenses are constructed.

To fortify and defend the lands we have already seized is what we need. In addition, it should help us get goodwill from ordinary civilians.

Independent Operations- You are at the end of the day an Independent Operator. Your authority is not unlimited, but you should be able to dictate your own actions.

A carrier ship with everything you need would be ideal. A mobile operating base is strong. The main thing is that it can provide itself with everything it needs and get anywhere it needs to go.

She might still be alive. (it's kinda funny, because her story was a video game she was both widely succesful, arguably one of the most succesful CIS generals ever, but she's also killed like a month into the war.

That said, I doubt hte action involves her, because it's well, not exactly hunting for Acolytes. She's one of his most trusted underlings, fully dedicated to the cause, not some minor acolyte you need to pick up and keep eyes on.

Do we only have one action to choose from? Just choosing the same fortress and in parallel defending supply routes and building bunkers for civilians is quite realistic for us.

It will be difficult, of course, but considering that we're a droid it's quite possible.

In general as for me for each of these factions we should take on a task throughout the story to choose the priorities of these missions.

We can't neglect Duku in favor of Grievous, right? That's dumb...

We NEED to do this as soon as possible so that we can start rolling out actually good upgrades as soon as possible!

It has thorilide, a resource neccessary in the creation of turbolasers for capital ships. Palps pushed mining extra hard to equipped all his star destroyers with so many after the war. I can only imagine Venerators need a lot to. Gorse is excellently positioned for a number of strategic attacks or reinforcements.

Pursuing it as a strategic Resource might get us credit with Greivous, while fortress would purely us.

@ErraticWizard is it possible to select an option for each list or are we going with just the one?

Not how upgrades work. Industrial advisors gets us people to do things like build/manage factories and stuff.

This is the action to design software or hardware upgrades for existing droids or build new ones from scratch.

Until I get an answer from erratic I'll go with these two. Both could be used to invade Gorse and establish it as our base.

We need to build up our rep, and this seems like the best way

we need to fix the base droid programming or come up with a Doctrine where we won't go all Napoleon warfare on each other. It will be hard for palps to counter them since he is not a military Commander.

Edit: couldn't help myself and think that actually taking a step back and moving to gorse like we planned might be better.
