Missy cautiously opened the door, looking around before sneaking down the stairs and out into the garden. She couldn't stand to be around her parents right now.
Soon, she found her feet taking her to the Boardwalk, not wanting to go back to the park after what just happened. She wandered around, aimlessly, before sitting down at a bench.
That voice in her head, that green light she saw ever so briefly, if it happened once it could happen again right? She needed someone to talk to right now.
Ah, I didn't expect to meet so soon again, hello small one.
H-huh? So it wasn't just her imagination.
I would quite hope so, I assure you I am much more than a hallucination of your mind.
Oh, I'm sorry. Missy offered her apologies. But she couldn't help but ask who this strange person was.

But, why help her at all? Missy was just a child.

Not literal prawns... Abnormalities call EGO users the name of the abnormality they're using, seeing the users as hosts or vessels of an abnormality's will. So its someone with Wellcheers' EGO. As for a business... Well, it certainly makes money off of soda, and some other stuff... Besides, would you buy from some small startup claiming it can heal both your injuries and your mind?

WellCheers is a comparatively harmless abnormality. Not only is it a ZAYIN (not an ALEPH hiding as one, an actual ZAYIN), it has no kill conditions at all. It just takes you to work in a fishing boat.
Which to be fair, sure fucking beats working in L-Corp as a nugget.

" The guy who looked like the captain walked towards me and asked me about my height and weight. I asked him when the ship goes to port. He told me it'd be about a month but that I shouldn't try and run away or anything cause they already made a deal with "my people"."

I personally interpreted this as they let you work with them if you prove your worth/are useful. The rest get munched on or become organ donors. Who knows. Besides, Zayins can be pretty murdery if they wanted, and since Waw/Aleph class abnormalities are gonna be more rare, making the lower class ones stronger would help with balancing stuff and make them match up to the regular capes around Earth Bet.
