[X] Plan: Civies First
-[X] Establish plan of attack
-[X] Have your weapons out and ready at all times ready to fend off the cyber psycho
-[X] If it hasn't been done already, call back in to report this as a Cyberpsycho attack so that Max-tac can be brought in to help.
-[X] In the mean time, try to draw the Cyberpsycho away from the civilians and wounded officer with a distraction, such as throwing a can or whatever the stall was selling in another direction and hope the Cyberpsycho takes the bait.
-[X] Have Ajax use his eyes to scan the area for anymore wounded civilians and to locate the cop
-[X] Have Tanner go out to check on the wounded officer and if drag them to safety if the injury is bad enough.
-[X] If the Cyberpsycho notices you, have all of you open fire on him, try aiming for his Mantis blade arms as they seem to be a weak spot.
Things are about to get worse and… as much as Tanner hates to admit it, they can't do anything to stop it. He feels his pin burn hot against his collar, making him reach up to clutch at it.
'Sorry Aves, this is a bit out of our league.' The pin slowly but eventually cools down and Tanner couldn't help but feel a bit ashamed.
'Some Worshiper I'm turning out to be.'
His gaze wandered over to the dead woman next to the other officer's feet and the feeling of shame grew. A whimper caught his attention and with a look, spotted the cowering bodies of even more civilians, some crying and praying to whatever deity they believed in, begging not to die.
'Maybe, I can still do something…' A plan began to form in his head and he felt Aves' pin begin to burn once more, this time with approval.
'Yeah, this could work!'
With as much authority as he could muster, he turned to his patrol partner. "Cox! C'mere!" He turns to the officer next to him. "Name?"
"Wetmore. Brendan Wetmote. My partner's Warren Lycan." Came his reply.
"Wetmore. I'm Montoya, you're with me and Cox." Tanner introduced himself. "We can't do anything against this guy without the right gear. Has MaxTac been contacted yet?"
"Negative!"
"Call them.
Now." He ordered, the officer nodded and his eyes lit up as he started up comms. Turning to his own partner, Tanner gave out orders. "Cox, we need to evacuate civvies, distract him."
"Roger that!" The officer quickly made his way around the market, trying to get to the upper level above the glass roof, but he's going to need time. In the meantime, Tanner was scanning the environment for whatever he could use. Pots, vinyl records, clothes… Aha!
Reaching over, he snatched up a can of NiCola, shook it like it just offended his mom and tossed it over head. "Taste the love, Chromehead!"
========================================================================
Mad flies. Mad flies. Buzzing all around. Can't let them land, don't let them talk or the world is upside down. There! A fly! Buzzing overhead! He shoots, it explodes a-AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!
"AAAAAAAGH!" The cyberpsycho screamed as NiCola juice exploded out of the can that he just shot, soda landing all over him and his sparking arm. Apparently, soda is a good conductor for electricity and with soda all over him, his malfunctioning Mantis Blades just sent thousands of volts of electricity running through his body and circuits! Every cyberware he had went mad as he overloaded, the mantis blade going in and out of it's sheath, synthetic skin plates folding and unfolding wildly as his vision glitched out; unable to cope with the surge of unrestricted power!
"MaxTac, on the way." Wetmore announced.
"Good, try to scan for civvies and wounded, get them out of here!" Tanner ordered, the officer already getting those nearby to leave the area, a few even crying out thanks of gratitude. "Where's your partner!?"
"Should be near the ripper doc!" Wetmore was helping a man in a suit hobble away from the cyberpsycho, his left leg gone from below the knees, a hastily made tourniquet kept him from bleeding out.
Screams erupted once more as the cyberpyscho managed to power through his short circuit by aiming his weapon at the fleeing bodies to pull at the trigger, a few of the remaining civilians getting caught in the crossfire, bullets ripping through their organic bodies as they fell.
The pin on his collar burned brightly hot at the sight and Tanner would not deny that he felt the same but with only his Lexington and a cheap ballistic vest, he's only throwing himself to the slaughter if he engaged, taking a chance, he ran for the ripperdoc the cyberpsycho apparently came from, dodging bullets that were being sent his way.
"Swat the flies! Kill the flies! Burn them all up!" The cyberpsycho screamed, still sparking and sizzling as he tossed out the spent magazine to slip in a new one. "Wipe the city clean, break down the buildup!"
"Shut the fuck up!" His ranting was cut off when bullets and glass rained from the sky, a large singular shard of glass impaling his shoulder as Cox appeared from the upper floor, emptying his magazine as he rained gunfire down on the perp. Bullets visibly sparked and pinged off of the armored chrome that covered parts of the psycho's body but a good number pierced through 'ganic flesh.
With a mad laugh, the cyberpsycho suddenly sped up, twisting and turning to dodge bullets as he started running up the stairs to where Cox was, Wetmore, seeing what was about to happen, cursed and handed another wounded to a nearby civvie, took aim with his Ajax and tried to provide covering fire to give his fellow officer time to move.
Meanwhile, Tanner ran into the Ripperdoc, his entrance greeted by a completely trashed interior, there were obvious signs of a struggle, bullets holes were all over the floor, walls and ceiling. The walls had deep cuts that marred the metal walls, sprays of blood accompanied it along with the dead bodies of the doc's other patients.
"Lycan! You in here?" Tanner cried out, and deeper in he heard a woman's voice call out. "NCPD!? Over here!"
Following the voice, Tanner went deeper into the building and found the wounded Officer strapped to the bed, an asian woman adorned in an apron, a metallic glove and a bleeding hand was frantically trying to keep the officer alive. Wasting no time, he ran up to her, "What's his status?"
"Heavy bloodloss." The ripperdoc curtly responded, trying to do everything one handed as she had 4 fingers cut off on her other hand and a deep gash where her right eye should have been. "Bullet nicked his brachial artery, trying to stem the bleeding but I can only do so much with one hand and one eye!"
NCPD Can't afford to lose a man, especially now! He has no medical skills and the ripperdoc's crippled, what is he going to do?
How shall Tanner Montoya respond?
