Good Question! What gear do we happen to have on us and on our fellow officers? Same with cyberwere?
He has no leg mods right?
Have all 3 officers on the rooftops, shoot down.
Hell no its a Cyberpycho that ends up with at lest 3 officed dead min.
Talking never works with Cyberpsychos. I'd love to do the Hacking route which i used in game but we don't have the trained hacker required.
There's a very high possibility that everyone will die but, if you are charismatic enough or know just what to say, you could be able to talk them down or get them back to a level of lucidity enough to bring them in, but who knows what will happen!Hell no its a Cyberpycho that ends up with at lest 3 officed dead min.
Would most likely require hacking.Any way we could disable his Sandevistan because that seems to be his most dangerous bit of cyberware as far as we can tell
High chance of Detective Tanner Montoya dying, or high chance of the Cyberpsycho dying?
High chance of tanner hetting hurt or dying.High chance of Detective Tanner Montoya dying, or high chance of the Cyberpsycho dying?
[X] Establish plan of attack
-[X] Have your weapons out and ready at all times ready to fend off the cyber psycho
-[X] If it hasn't been done already, call back in to report this as a Cyberpsycho attack so that Max-tac can be brought in to help.
-[X] In the mean time, try to draw the Cyberpsycho away from the civilians and wounded officer with a distraction, such as throwing a can or whatever the stall was selling in another direction and hope the Cyberpsycho takes the bait.
-[X] Have Ajax use his eyes to scan the area for anymore wounded civilians and to locate the cop
-[X] Have Tanner go out to check on the wounded officer and if drag them to safety if the injury is bad enough.
-[X] If the Cyberpsycho notices you, have all of you open fire on him, try aiming for his Mantis blade arms as they seem to be a weak spot.
This is the first time I've made a battle plan, hopefully all goes well. If anyone has any suggestions I'll keep those in mind and change plan accordingly.
The point of all that being, I am guilty of writing about redeeming murder, so if that's your problem with me, well….
Cool, that is exactly how I interpreted it. I wasn't under the impression he was secretly Robin Hood or anything. He's certainly a selfish thief who was willing to hurt that woman, even if he didn't intend to kill her. That being said, the woman's dead now, and unless I'm misunderstanding the range of our powers, there's nothing that can be done for the dead. It does her no more good to get revenge on this guy than it does us in the real world. The important thing is how to make sure this kind of thing stops happening, or at least reduces massively in number, and retributive justice just doesn't do that, it's not the point. I'm not saying we should help this guy because he's uniquely worthy of redemption but because he's not unique. If you want to make a better world you've got to get down in the mud, if you want justice to reign you have to be willing to help bad people become better, because the fact is that the other way requires we put half the world in a cage, and that's just not possible. While Finn certainly didn't mean to kill her, he still did it in a panic and once he had gotten over his initial freak out, he'd still go back to mugging people but would be a little more open to actively stabbing them if things don't go his way again.
He was written to be a selfish individual that only cared about himself in the end. Yes, he will feel guilty for all the bad things he's done but in the end, he's looking out for himself and if people are going to get in the way of that, he'll rationalize that he's in the right for doing what he did.
Our 'curse' just so happened to take root just as he was still feeling guilty over it. He was never going to fess up to the crime.
