Two knights, to be more precise. "Flametail" Sona, and "Ashlock" Greynuty. They are simply on their way back to the Pinus Sylvestris headquarters.
Wait why are we look at them-
A squelching sound emerges from the puddle. Something starts to form- something white. The two are almost on their way to leave the area, but they hear the noise and turn their heads- just to see a skeletal hand emerge from the waters.
Oh.
Well, he takes two strands of material, and uses it as reins. The creature gallops away, taking him along, and the two girls stare at the scene, completely and utterly dumbfounded.
Then they give chase, and the ethereal observer known as "Abel," who was watching the entire scene, slaps himself in his nonexistent face.
"Damn it all."
Aw crap.
Totally, trust me on this.
Sure. Absolutely.
Right now, the Candle Knight, Viviana, planned to step herself into the scene. However, she will have to wait, as she nearly trips in her own feet after receiving a disorienting flash directly into her eyes.
Whoops. Hope we didn't interfere if something important.
As the two knights walk away and the Elafian Grand Knight simply stares at the scene in confusion, a worker of the arena steps into the chaos.
What, is Linnete gonna encourage Margaret to throw the fight?
Wasn't her winning supposed to be important in the future?
You're almost there. The man hasn't moved an inch.
But he's changed, it seems. He's snapped out of his funk and is now watching you with a silent intensity. It seems he's looking for an opportunity to escape.
Yeah, our chance to talk to him when he's let his guard down passed. Now he's back in fanatic mode.
Shame.
"Arabella appears to be in the vicinity. I do not exactly know what she is doing, but she is nearby. I could pinpoint her location to him, while warning her."
Uh.
Is this her harvesting a body for Nameless?
Is she robbing graves?
[ ] Tell X to come to Arabella for help.
[ ] Tell X to come to the Rhodes Island building.
[ ] Nicole arrived first- she's used to going around the world with RI for some time.
[ ] Wympe arrived first- she wrangled her way past the legislations even while technically not existing in any country's records.
[ ] Capone arrived first- he just had his papers with him, and he makes a habit of keeping it all in order.
The thing about X is that even if he does shake off his pursuers, it still means that someone knows that there's a horrifying Sarkaz around who probably is gonna tell other people to be wary of them. And if someone sees X hanging out with someone is gonna catch some flack. It seems less a vote for "who should X seek help from" and more "who do you want to seem super sus, a graverobbing vampire or the medical building we are in that is already is under attack by an eldritch cult?"
The worse thing is that one of those people is Sona, the same one that Adam is looking to recruit. So if she sees X hanging around Rhodes Island she gonna get really suspicious of all them, which lets Adam to swoop in and go "Yeah these guys are super sus, anyone one who hangs out with a puddle monster is bad news, so we're fighting them, wanna join up?"
Adam isn't paying attention to Arabella right now so going to her won't let Adam leverage it directly, it mostly screws over Arabella and Nameless instead of everyone else.
X could even help with the whole getting a body business! He has an endless supply of corpses of himself.
Which is gonna be super weird but at least they will be fresh.
As for who to join us first...
Our goal is to defend the building, protect the staff and patients, and prevent Andoain from escaping.
Nicole uses a rifle and smoke, which is amazing crowd control from making cover and debuffing foes, mostly by slowing them down and making them more fragile. I don't know how precise she is with it so it might get in the way of her allies. She also has a lot of backup weapons and has the most experience of working with Rhodes Island of the three.
Wympe uses a halberd and explosions, and her fighting style seems to revolve around making and exploiting weaknesses and dirty fighting. She has the Courage to Protect, but I'm not sure how to translate that to reality. Negotiation is also something she is good at, but possibly not relevant.
Capone is versatile, good at both melee and ranged, and his EGO and his regen means that while he can get put down he can get back up quickly instead of being out of the fight. Otherwise, I think he technically has the least experience of us, and his mutations might take some time to get going? He, hmm, he's solid and doesn't die and can do a bit of everything, but I feel like others can beat him in their specialties. Like Nicole might be better at range and debuffs and Wympe can punch a hole in defenses.
[X] Tell X to come to Arabella for help.
[X] Nicole arrived first- she's used to going around the world with RI for some time.
X can help Arabella with getting a corpse (his corpse), and Nicole's smoke can hinder anyone that tries to run.
Also she can catch up with Seig and maybe share that she's possibly mutating into a smoke monster.
