as well as wearing thick furs that will do for armor in a pinch
well, in early African wars well made rhino skin shields could stop harquebus bullets so...
It really depends on materials. besides leather armor use of bone and wood was also widespread. So northman could be using armor made from all the mutated/giant animals and it would work in a pinch as a good enough armor. Though, most of them are too poor for metal armor, even swords are rarity.
Olric, god of winter, wolves, winter-hunger and not being hungry
nice, not one of the crazier tribes. now, doesn't mean they are anti-chaos exactly. Just averse to too much of it.
some great... Emperor-Rhaska called the Changer of Ways
technically correct. To Exalted sorcerers Chaos Gods would seem like immensely powerful Raksha that devoted itself to incarnating one of the spiritual 'organs' to the extreme. Very superficial resemblance of course.
For what it's worth he does not seem entirely resistant to being tempted.
Yeah, they wouldn't. He should be vary tho, but airfolk aren't... kronenberg/insane enough for him to get really worried.
Rhaska are the ones giving these Skaelings their mutations, which is... not impossible but very odd.
Yeah, it would take Raksha a long time acclimating to reality to consider ding things like that.
Funnily enough Daemons are both less alien and more familiar with how real world works then absolute most of Raksha.
Though, to be fair there are 2 types of mutations, Chaos exposure and Gifts of the Gods. Second type is better and less random.
More concerning the Skaelings seem to make common warbands with the Rashka which gives them strong magic.
yeah, another weird thing for them. In Exalted humans don't exactly get empowered like that. Nor do otherworldly creatures work easily with humans. Closest analogy would be how deathlords operate weirdly enough.
Though, I think it's gonna be the fact how locals do their magic, channeling wyld straight through themselves that will freak out exalts. XD
[X] [PRISONERS] Have them brought before you that you may judge them for yourself
[X] [PRISONERS] Release both of them with some small gifts as apologies
Yeah, maybe see the guy personally. Otherwise, it's easy to incite their interest with some gifts. Norse don't get access to fine things in the north. I mean, average Northman is dirt ducking poor.
