Rules lawyering just seems like the same story we've been reading this entire quest only more comedic I guess? I'd like to start building the story beyond just fucking with random humans as fun as its been so far.

Resentment seems fine for now sure, but what happens after that. Maybe there's something deeper in the forest to discover so that could potentially be interesting, but at the same time, kinda just wanna see her grow a bit and Resolve seems like the clearest path towards that.

No, Resolve is the path for going full training.

Resentment is exactly what is says it is - going off to sulk in the deep woods until something draws our attention or we get bored. If we want to do the standard pokemon training arc, Resolve is the only choice.

Actually honestly yeah. I'm less sure where this goes. What is in the center of the forest? And how badly is it going to mess with Trixie's life this time.
