Come on, people, ask yourselves this: would somebody who is known for spending all their time in shadowlands ever fail to have loyalty to a scion of the Empress? Of course not! If we can't trust someone like that, who can we trust?

You really don't wanna see what the mysterious stranger (*cough* obvious Sidereal *cough*) is doing here huh? There's some pretty cool options of what could happen and I heavily doubt Gaz is just gonna drop "lol you lose everything forever" because we decided to poke around an interesting character attached to a character we've chosen to have some focus.

There's no basis or evidence for the assumption that Sai is gonna fuck us over. She could very easily be completely ambivalent, on sabbatical, or even sent to keep watch over the Empress's youngest daughter. We don't know because we've never interacted with her.

Vote for something because you want it to happen at least. That's kinda the point of a narrative quest like this.

Yeah, what 1337 said. I mean, guys, in all seriousness, I'm profoundly dubious that there's a "right" and a "wrong" option hidden in these choices. Vote for what you're interested in, not against what you're afraid of.

So I don't think there would be an outright wrong choice that would ruin things for us but drama/conflict wouldn't be a bad faith possibility. Suspicious new instructor just makes me think Gilderoy Lockhart and I'd rather inform someone I have more confidence in before entering any chamber of secrets.

Though I do admit ghost/shadowland expertise sounds useful. As does nautical magic to be honest...

So... we got a fiery adventurer, a rival, and a mysterious new teacher to consult for a mysterious Cave of Shinies.

Assuming we have intentions to keep half of what we find, consulting either Bashura or Sai means we kibosh that plan entirely. So, as much as this might grate at Ambraea, Darting Fish really may be our safest choice, even if we're gonna get strange looks from Keric.

Ambraea is capable of being a little more circumspect than "here is exactly what I am looking for and where to find it", and if asking for advice here were going to mean whoever she speaks to necessarily cuts into the reward, I would have suggested as much upfront.

I rather dislike sidereals.
