Also, HOLY SHIT THIS IS SUCH A COOL IDEA. @Maugan Ra I am guessing/hoping that in this altered setting, we could still potentially play a female character even if we take Adeptus Astartes? True/false?

Regardless, I am immediately all in on this one. It's just the second option where I'm torn by indecision between almost all of my alternatives.
Edit: oh! I meant to say. If anyone saw the talk about the Moirae Schism and went "que???", it this: Moirae Schism - Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
Related to said and to my question above, the Iron Hands were among the most intimately involved in the Moirae Schism. So being a schismite should, at least AFAICT here, very much still be on the table if we went with Mechanicus + Astartes.
