[x] Yes: Why not just directly challenge the court itself, maybe offer something in exchange and make us mortals be your champions? (Will Begin: War! What is it good for?)

[X]Yes: Why not just send me back to Earth to Locate Sun Wukong? (Will Begin: A Journey to the West)

I will never not vote for getting Sun Wukong involved.

A Journey to the West 1
A Journey to the West 1:

Nanjing, Northern China, 1949

You nearly threw up as you suddenly appeared in the city, without a second of hesitation from the angel of darkness and knowledge not saying any more words. It was a quiet evening as you looked at the ruined city that was in the middle of rebuilding, even with the war that had just become hot again.

You took a deep breath as you took a moment to get your bearings. You were in an alley, nearby the river, and that was good. You could move towards the coast following the river and then get to the relative safety of Japan or Korea.

That being very easier said than done, as you had a few disadvantages going against you that were not good. You were white… well Jewish, but you looked far paler than other jews you had known. Your red hair was a sign of a foreigner. You hardly spoke the language of the land or even knew the dialect of the region. While that could be changed soon with a little bit of effort on your part, you knew that there were a lot of problems. Like trying to find Sun Wukong in a wartorn country.

After all, you only had a single thing going for you. He was imprisoned under a mountain. And while that could help. You knew that it would not. Because there were thousands of mountains here in China, and they are all to the west or the southwest. And you were going to have to traverse the said country.

You frowned as you looked down and picked up your hat, looking at the note that one of the two angels snuck into the hat before they gave you the boot and left you on your own.

It was a note… and a compass?

Strange, but then again, you were never one to look a gift in the mouth, especially from the angels.

"To the Strange human, Heinrich Oster,

Follow the compass, that is your desire. Sun will be on the other end.

Rami.

P.S: We'll be preparing for our own attempts to rescue my brother."

Wonderful, they just ditched you out in the middle of nowhere, and expected you to figure it out!

You opened the compass and saw it pointing towards the West. Not due west, but more southwest.

Towards the Front line of the god damn war that was now engulfing the region.

Goddammit. You would need to get to the front lines now.

You looked around and saw a very sordid sight.

A woman, a white woman, was being dragged out of her home by her hair, her children screaming as the police officers that were there throwing books onto the ground, and a flag of the Republic of China, the Tricolor of France, was discarded and thrown into the river.

She was screaming in French, and you realized it was a shop that was selling imported goods, a store that somehow survived all the hell that the city went through

A moment later, a gunshot was heard, and the woman was dead.

It seems they just threw you down into a middle of a crackdown of anti-communists or republican sympathizers. Or Foreigners?

Or maybe they were playing a trick on you and this was just a sick trick they were playing on you, and you were in hell!?

By god.

Those angels were Assholes!

How do you do it?:

[]The Honest Way: Well you are a western trained doctor, and despite your dislike for war, and the people and leaders who wage it for no stupid idea… You would have to use that skill to hitch a ride to the Front.

[]The Stupid Way: Well you maybe can do something that would be stupid, irresponsible, utterly asinine, and one thing that will surely get you killed if you were to be any more stupid and brazen about it. You are going to the Red Guard station, and joining China's Red Army.

[]The Reckless Way: Well perhaps you could try to find the local spy ring and offer your services to them if nothing else than to help them get out of this increasingly unsafe for anyone, not Chinese city. Or maybe you are just letting your fear blind you.

[]The Smart Way: Huh… You still have your diplomatic credentials in your wallet…. Somehow? Perhaps it is time to play the role you really do not want to play. A German Diplomat.

AN: I wanted to make it longer.

Instead, I got a 16 hour day and I'm exhausted.

i hope my anger and frustration didn't bleed out into the update too much.

This feels very repetitive.

If it did, it fit perfectly with Heinrich's thought process.
