Cumbrous Will seems to me as a very situational feat.

On the other hand, there could be different situations...

[X] Goldfish

@DragonParadox , how close is Zaia to level up?

Are you sure skill focus is worth the same amount of xp as the other feats? 3 skill points is not so much
It's actually really good.

If I hadn't already agreed to choose Cumbrous Will this time, I would be extremely tempted to pick Skill Focus (Bluff). That would bring Roland up to +8 Bluff, which isn't great but isn't bad either. More importantly, however, it would stack with the Class skill bonus. So next level up, if we put even 1 point into Bluff, his bonus would go from +8 to +12. Shifting some points away from Handle Animal would let us raise his Bluff bonus nicely.

This makes it really good!

I don't think I'd want Roland to become a better liar.

But how about some battle tactics involving deception?

Cumbrous will. We will lose it if we don't choose it.

With Improved Iron Will we might even be virtually invulnerable to will saves

My one misgiving is that we choose before rolling the save, and Roland probably can't really identify incoming magics- the primary cause of all the worst will saving throws- with any great nuance. Still, an incredible will save is practically the grail for warriors in my experience, with how common they're caught in the crossfire….

Edit: Also, without Improved Feint, which we aren't quite bright enough to get, Feinting doesn't seem very good. Why not just make two attacks instead of one more accurate one?

Greater feint open ups the enemy to everyone, not just you. Yet it means more feats in the future

It doesn't seem particularly fair to people who want to feint. If you need wisdom, con and dex for various saves and defences, possibly str for damage, charisma to feint and intelligence to qualify for all these various feats, what can give?

I suppose it would have to be str or wisdom or dex, but feinting doesn't even seem very strong.

There are some good feint teamwork feats. For example, a feint that enables others to make attacks of opportunity against the target.

Still, it requires feat investment.

@DragonParadox, when I'm done with work this evening, I'll update the whole set for ease of editing the character sheet page, but here's a link to Esha's sheet with her new level up applied, in case you need it for reference.

Age of Ice and Blood: A Pathfinder System Heroic Fantasy Quest Original - Fantasy

Don't pay this any mind, ya'll. Just posting it here for future reference when Esha levels up next. Waking up really early gives me a lot of free time before I have to get started on real work... [] Esha Level Up -[] Attribute: +1 Intelligence -[] Class: +1 Arcanist -[] Favored Class Bonus...
